I decided to make this little video because I honestly hoped it would go viral…

Well… it did. 😂

And now, apparently, the only comment I receive is:

“LINK?”
“WHERE DID YOU BUY THEM?”
“LINK PLEASE!”
“LINK???” 😂✂️

So here we go. Let’s answer your most frequently asked questions.

1. Where can I buy these scissors?

I DON’T SELL THEM. 😂

2. Can you send me the link?

No. I’m not advertising or recommending any particular shop, seller or brand.

Just go to any online marketplace, like Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, Temu, etc., and search “Electric Scissors.” Choose the ones you like.

Also, please don’t come back to me if you don’t like the product or accidentally hurt yourself. 😂 I really cannot take responsibility for that.

3. Can they cut wood, metal, or other materials?

No idea. 😂

I’ve only ever used mine for cardboard, so that’s literally all I can tell you.

4. Can children use them?

Absolutely not.

I would strongly recommend that these scissors are used only by adults, 18+.

And please read the safety instructions that come with your own product.

Growing up as an art student, there were quite a few things that made me uncomfortable. And now that I teach children myself, I often find myself thinking: I remember how this felt.

So these are some things I consciously try to do differently.

✏️ Taking the pencil out of my hand and finishing my work for me.
I never liked when a teacher would simply take my pencil and start fixing my drawing themselves.
With my students, I always ask first: “Would you like some help?”
They can say yes. They can say no. Both answers are completely okay.

💬 Not being allowed to talk at all.
I don’t mind my students talking during class, as long as they’re not too loud and aren’t talking over me when I’m explaining something.
Art doesn’t always have to happen in complete silence.

☕ Not being allowed to rest.
Sometimes you’re simply tired. And that’s okay.
I allow my students to take a short break when they need one. Sometimes stepping away from a drawing for a few minutes is exactly what you need to come back with a fresh idea.

🏆 Competition between students.
I never liked the feeling that students were being compared to one another.
In my studio, I try to create a friendly atmosphere where everyone can develop at their own pace. Every child is equally valuable, and every person brings something different to the room.

👧 “I’m older, so you have to listen to me.”
Being older doesn’t automatically mean being right.
I give my students advice that might make their drawing easier or help them solve a problem. But I also tell them that they don’t have to follow my advice.
They can try it, change it, or decide that their own way works better.

🎨 One “correct” way of making art.
This is probably one of the most important things for me.
Whenever I demonstrate something, I tell my students:
“This is my way of doing it.”
Not the right way.
If they find another way, that’s great. If they grow up and decide to do it completely differently, even better.

I remember the things that made me feel small as a student.
And I want my studio to be a place where children feel free to grow. 💛🎨

From a glass bottle… to a little paper-mâché cat! 🐈✨

We used a simple glass bottle, aluminium foil and paper to build the shape, then covered everything with PVA glue and let it dry completely.

The final step? Acrylic paint and lots of creativity! 🎨

A simple bottle turned into a completely unique handmade sculpture. 💛
