The song "I Hear You" was officially launched to the general public in the beautiful city of Guimarães, Portugal 🇵🇹 on 12 April 2026, as part of a 2-day Music and Mental Health Conference that was organised there in collaboration with the Município de Guimarães.

The final concert involved performances from the Maltese choir VOCA Choir and the Spanish choir Voces Blancas del Nalón, and was led by the wonderful team of ondamarela in collaboration with Tim Steiner 😍The concert ended with the first live performance of "I Hear You" with members of the general public being invited to join in! A truly magical and heart-warming experience! 🥹

In order to be as inclusive as possible, the ENSEMBLE team decided to prepare a sign language version of "I Hear You" in order to spread our message of hope and support to members of the deaf community across the EU 🤝❤️

To this end, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Emma Ripard Xuereb from the Għaqda Persuni Neqsin mis-Smigħ / Deaf People Association Malta for her support in translating our lyrics into sign language! We greatly appreciate it, Emma! 🥰

ENSEMBLE has been a long journey starting back in October 2024.

It has involved a lot of work behind the scenes as well as input, teamwork and collaboration from and between the three main project partners - ondamarela from 🇵🇹, Voces Blancas del Nalón from 🇪🇸 and VOCA Choir from 🇲🇹 - under the artistic direction of the brilliant Tim Steiner.

Meetings with mental health institutions and professionals, workshops, rehearsals, conferences - these have been the building blocks for the creation of "I Hear You", our original song raising awareness on the significance of mental health.

And here it is ..... I HEAR YOU! ❤️

The original song for choirs written and composed by Tim Steiner and Ricardo Baptista from ondamarela 🇵🇹 as a result of the experiences with mental health institutions, groups and professionals of our two participating choirs - VOCA Choir from 🇲🇹 and Voces Blancas del Nalón 🇪🇸 🧠🙏

An almost two-year journey culminates in this moment. We have worked hard over the past years to turn this dream into a reality. Workshops, meetings, brainstorming sessions and lots of work behind the scenes for this final outcome 🥹 And we could not be prouder!

We hope that our message of love, empathy, compassion and understanding reaches many homes across the EU 🇪🇺 and beyond 🌍. We have translated the lyrics of the song into all 24 EU languages and Ukrainian 🇺🇦 so do put on the subtitles and change the language through the settings! ❤️

Translated and available in all official 24 EU languages 🇪🇺, Ukrainian 🇺🇦 and sign language 🙏
