The Writers’ Critic Platform brought together emerging writers and passionate observers throughout Dance Festival Malta 2026, creating a space to look beyond the stage and explore the ideas, emotions and questions behind each performance.

Through mentorship, conversation and critical reflection, participants developed their voices as arts writers while engaging closely with the contemporary dance presented throughout the festival.
