THANK YOU POST ALERT‼️

After months of hard work and dedication, we are completely overwhelmed and overjoyed with what we have achieved these past few months. All our hard work payed off during the 17th, 18th and 19th of January✨

Thanks to Lasallian Nights 2025, Prima Facie has gave us a lifetime of memories, new friendships, courage and yet again, gave us all a sense of community. 🔮⚖️

This is basically the definition of a Lasallian 😆

Unfortunately, we cannot go back in time but all the laughs, shouts, acting, singing, dancing and smiles will forever live in our hearts🫶🏼

A big thank you goes to all those who in some way, shape or form had lent a helping hand to make Lasallian Nights 2025 the best one yet. This goes out to our talented script writers, committees, actors, live band members, dancers, council and all those who participated. Without any one of us, Lasallian Nights would not have been such a great show 💞

Another thank you goes to the staff members at school. Without them, Lasallian Nights would have looked completely different. 💜

Lastly, a big thank you goes to all those who took the time to watch Prima Facie. Without your constant support, and applause, Lasallian Nights would have not been the same. Without you, our talented students would not have put on such a great show❤️

The 29th edition of Lasallian Nights, De La Salle’s traditional sixth form student soirée, is returning for its 29th edition for three shows between 17th and 19th January.

This year’s show, called Prima Facie, features a fully original story written by scriptwriting duo Alexandra Labsanczki and Mathias Debattista Grech.

Set in the 1900s, the play tells the story of a court case involving a kidnapping and the theft of a historical artifact thought to hold magical powers. When a sinister conspiracy is overheard, it sets off a series of life-altering events. Through flashbacks and dramatic revelations, audiences will witness a journey of betrayal, justice, and the pursuit of truth.

Choreography has been entrusted to the dance committee, led by Faye Goodwin, Mariah Borg, Maia Laura Attard, and Martina Testaferrata Moroni Viani.

Meanwhile, the Art and Props team, led by Carlos Borg, Giulia Xuereb, Katie Muscat Frendo, Martina Bugeja, and Nyle Spiteri, has worked on intricate props such as jail cells, boats and courtroom furniture, as well as flaps and backdrops, to bring the story to life.

This year also features a live band led by the Music Committee—Kellyann Spiteri, Mariah Joy, Matthias Conrad, and Rajeev Sah Frendo—which will perform live songs from iconic musicals such as Phantom of the Opera and Moulin Rouge.

It is being overseen by the De La Salle student council - Michela Vassallo, Gabriel Debono, Rachelle Delia, Benjamin Paul Galea, Martina Xuereb, Georg Grech, and Kian Busuttil.
