Lady Jo’s Art

Lady Jo’s Art Creating art primarily with Chalk Pastels, Watercolours and Inks Joanna Wallbank is a self taught artist from the island of Malta.

While always having had an interest in art and design, it wasn't until 2016 that she began producing her own work. Her art evokes local colours and landscapes through vivid chalk pastels, watercolours and mixed media. A member of the Pastel Society of Malta, she exhibited her work for the first time during their Summer 2022 exhibition. Her story is proof that new passions can bloom at any stage in life and that it's never too late to try something new.

Drama in the Sky….one of three of my paintings taking part in the Pastel Society of Malta summer exhibition 2026 at Palazz Maria Assunta Qrendi up to the 28 June 2026. Entrance is free and the Opening hours are Monday to Saturday 18.00 to 21.00 and Sundays 10.00 to 12.00 and 18.00 to 21.00. Well worth a visit to this picturesque village to view and support the work of 19 talented artists!

Classic cars are soooo stylish! This year the Valletta Concours will be held on Sunday 24th May 2026 on Triton Square Valletta. Once again an art exhibition is being held in conjunction with this prestigious event from Saturday 16th May 2026 to Sunday 24th May 2026 at the Chamber of Commerce in Republic Street Valletta.
My soft pastel paintings will be on display together with the paintings of 15 other artists. If you are in Valletta next week do pop in and admire the work of some very talented local artists!
