✝️ Good Friday Procession with Festa Banda 🎺

On this solemn and deeply meaningful time in the Christian calendar, Festa Banda had the honour of accompanying the Good Friday procession, performing traditional funeral marches.

As the statues made their way through the streets, our music aimed to reflect the reverence, devotion, and spiritual significance that this time of the year holds for our faith and for our Maltese identity. 🇲🇹

In Malta, where tradition and religion go hand in hand, these processions are more than events; they are a living expression of faith, culture, and community passed down through generations.

We are proud to be part of these traditions, contributing through music that unites, reflects, and honours this important moment in the liturgical year.

🎭✨ Carnival 2026 What a Season! ✨🎭

This Carnival season has truly been one to remember. We began by bringing music, colour, and energy to the young students in our local schools, sharing the joy of Carnival with the next generation and seeing their smiles light up every performance, and we proudly closed the season where it matters just as much, celebrating with our elderly.

From the youngest to the eldest, this Carnival was about community, inclusion, and togetherness. It was about making sure everyone felt the rhythm, the excitement, and the pride of our festa banda.

It has been a very busy season, filled with performances, collaborations, and unforgettable moments. None of this would have been possible without:

👏 Our loyal followers and viewers who support us every step of the way
🎺 Our incredible musicians who consistently deliver high-level performances with passion and dedication
🤝 Our clients and partners who trust us to create atmosphere and energy at every event

Viva, viva l-Karnival!” 🎤

Carnival is a time of colour, laughter, and celebration, but above all, it is a time for community. It is when generations come together to share joy, memories, and traditions that define who we are.

The words of the anthem remind us of something truly special: “Jgħajtu x-xjuħ u jgħajtu t-tfal”. The elderly and the children shout together in celebration. Joy has no age limit. Carnival belongs to everyone.

Our elderly are the heart of our community. They are the ones who witnessed Carnival through the decades, who remember the marches, the costumes, the music, and the stories of years gone by. They helped build the traditions we proudly carry forward today. Their presence is not just valued; it is essential!

As Festa Banda, we celebrate not only music and festivity, but also unity. We encourage our elderly to join us, to smile, to clap along, to sing, and to feel the warmth of a community that appreciates them. Because true celebration means making sure no one is left behind.

Let us continue building a Carnival that connects generations where young and elderly celebrate side by side, just as the anthem proudly says:
