From July 1–15, Fat Cat Jazz Club transforms into the vibrant international headquarters of the 2026 International Association of Schools of Jazz (IASJ) Annual Meeting, bringing together around 120 outstanding musicians, educators, and students from every corner of the world. Organized by the Mongolian-based JazzLab NGO, which successfully brought the 36th IASJ Meeting to Mongolia for the very first time, the event marks a historic moment for jazz in Asia and for Mongolia’s growing international cultural presence. Join us for two unforgettable weeks of concerts, jam sessions, workshops, and late-night musical encounters celebrating the energy, diversity, and global community of jazz in the heart of Ulaanbaatar.

Epilogue concerts💫

From July 12–15, the spirit of the 2026 International Association of Schools of Jazz Annual Meeting continues beyond the official conference as a number of international musicians remain in Mongolia to collaborate with local artists, explore new musical connections, and keep the creative energy flowing. This special epilogue to the IASJ promises intimate concerts, spontaneous encounters, unique cross-cultural projects, and exciting new collaborations between Mongolian and international musicians. The detailed program will be announced shortly — but audiences can already look forward to several extraordinary musical moments as the global jazz community slowly fades out of Ulaanbaatar after two remarkable weeks.
