My mother derives from the Northern Territory & Mparntwe (Alice Springs) where her family resided. My connection with the land & Aboriginal culture links directly with the Central Arrernte people, the traditional owners of Mparntwe. After spennding most of my childhood across many cities & small towns across Australia, I completed a majority of my education in the small Pilbara town of Paraburdoo in Western Australia. I started to learn my families culture & history throughout the last 10 years from my family & visiting Mparntwe. It was during this time that my art career started to form, where i articulate & express my learnings through painting. I have submitted art into the Cossack Art Awards festival & Dampier Art Awards this year.
