בית חם לרקדנים.ות, ליוצרי.ות מחול עצמאי ולקהל חובב מחול. כאן מתקיימים שיעורים, חזרות, מחקר ויצירה של קהילת המחול המקצועי, לצד אירועי מחול לקהל הרחב. קהילת המחול המקצועית במנשה תוכל להנות מתוכנית הבית Intake | סדנאות אמן ושיעורי בוקר. בקרוב פסטיבל המחול 26 בית המחול מנשה מהווה אכסניה לפעילות המחול הענפה המתקיימת במועצה האזורית מנשה ומזמין אליו את קהילת אנשי המחול והתנועה מכל רחבי הארץ לקחת חלק ולהרגיש בית.
הוא הוקם בשנת 2021, באולפן למחול מנשה, ביוזמתם של אורית שטראוך, גיל קרר ונועה שילה בשותפות גינת קליד מנהלת האולפן.
בית המחול הוא מרכז מחול שנבנה עפ"י מודל חדשני וייחודי המבטא היטב את הצורך והיתרונות בהקמת מרכזי תרבות מתוך וביוזמת הרשות המקומית. הוא מכיל את כל גופי המחול אשר פועלים במועצה, ביניהם אולפן למחול מנשה הוותיק והמוכר, להקת נוע - להקת נוער רפרטוארית למחול עכשווי , קבוצת המחול כרמלה - קבוצת מחול עכשווי לבוגרי מסלולי הכשרה ומחולות מנשה - להקות פולקלור בניהולה של רוני גלפרט.
בית המחול יוזם פרויקטים, הפקות, הופעות, תכניות רזידנסי ושיתופי פעולה מגוונים במטרה להביא ולייצר מחול איכותי ומעודכן לקהל הרחב ולתלמידי המחול של המועצה והאזור. כמו כן הוא פונה החוצה לקהילת המחול העכשווי בארץ במטרה לקדם פרויקטים ולתת מענה לשיתופי פעולה עבור יוצרים ורקדנים.
אנו פותחים מרחב מזמין ליצירה, מחקר, תנועה, ריקוד, הנאה, תחושה, שיחה ומחשבה. בית אשר מייצר קשר בין הקהילה והאמנים, בין צעירים ובוגרים, בין מקצוענים וחובבים, בין אנשים. Menashe Dance House serves as the focal point of the wide-ranging dance activity taking place in Menashe Regional Council, and invites all members of the dance and movement community in Israel to arrive at its gates and make themselves at home. It is the brainchild of Orit Strauch, Gil Kerer and Noa Shiloh, and operates in partnership with Ginat Klid, the director of the Menashe Dance School. The Dance Center is based on a unique, innovative model that meets the need for cultural centers in local and regional councils, and showcases the benefits of establishing them with the council’s backing and support. It brings together all the dance organizations operating in the regional council’s territory, including the well-known and respected Menashe Dance School, Nua (‘Move’) Dance Group – a repertory youth contemporary dance group, Carmela Dance Group – a contemporary dance group for the alumni of training programs, and Menashe dance groups – folklore groups managed by Roni Gelfert. The Dance Center launches projects, productions, performances, residency programs and diverse collaborations with the aim of creating high-quality, avant-garde dance for the benefit of the public at large and dancers based in the regional council and its surrounding area. It also seeks collaborations with the contemporary dance community throughout the country, with the intention of promoting projects and providing professional support to producers, choreographers and dancers. We have opened up a creative and inviting space for dance, research, movement, sensation, discourse, contemplation and enjoyment – a place where the members of the community and its artists – young and mature, professional and amateur – are welcome and are encouraged to connect and thrive.
