We finally decided to split our circus equipment and we sell it into two separate lots :
1 - Light, Sound and various accessories 17000 $ :
- 8 sound speakers. Peavy brand
- Soundcraft mixing console. Expression S3 model
- 6 HF microphones sets (Sennheiser, Sony, Shure, etc...)
- climbing materials for aerial acts : carabiners, wheels, clevis, 150m Kevlar ropes
- 40 light spots PAR 64 (Photosynthetically active radiation)
- 20 PAR lights LED
- 1 light tracking LED
- 2 electric unit
- 1 DMX light controller + wires and electrical
- CCTV video system (2 cameras and 2 screens + hard disk recorder)
- music instruments (double-bass)
- various circus technical accessories
2- Tent, scene + various circus equipments 60 000 $ :
- 1 big tent (26m x 30 m). Total weight is about 11 tons
- 3 small tents (6 x 15m each)
- music bandstand platform, very steady and beautiful above the artists entrance)
- long and beautiful red theater curtains for the artists entrance decoration
- 1 electrical hoisting gear (for aerial acts or technic)
- "Manzana" (special aerial act equipment)
- various technical stuff for special aerial trapeze acts

Unfortunately, as we feared last summer, we must definitely stop our circus adventure in Myanmar. Too complicated and too risky. As a result, we sell all our equipment, namely the marquee and all its structure, the platform of the musicians, all the lighting equipment and sound + instruments, accessories. Everything is in good condition. Some devices are even in new condition and have never been used. Everything is for sale for 100,000 $, to be discussed. That's a quarter of the new price. That's a great, great deal ! Perfect equipment to set up big amazing events ! Here below, the list of equipment and pictures. Everything must go ! Please feel to forward this announcement ! To you who have followed the adventure of our circus in Burma, I regret to announce that we'll probably stop everything for the moment. Too complicated, too long to get some answers, too expensive, too risky to go further. Even though we did the hardest by bringing a circus to a country that was not waiting for us, even though we had 23,000 visitors and even though all were delighted with our show, it would be unwise to continue.
For the next season, we'd planned to tour the north of the country in Mandalay, Taunggyi, Bagan and Magwe. Many people did ask us to come back and realize this dream. "The idea is great, we are told, it must only work! ". Some sponsors were interested and others were promising a quick response... Alas, to do so, we need more guarantees, some support and a little more money.
It would be unfortunate, no one will know if our circus had a future in Myanmar. And I sincerely doubt that another dreamer more crazy than me will embark on such a venture one day ... The Shwe Daung was the first international circus to perform in Myanmar, I'm afraid it will also be the last!
Actually that's not 100% sure but it's probably the most logical and safest option. Let's say that the train is leaving the station and that we don't know if it will come back... I'll keep you posted !

Here below, I forward the announcement of our circus artists friends of Fekat Circus from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Very talented and brave people who are teaching the circus arts and perform in their country since years. Talented, brave and... very nice people with whom we worked during our last circus tour in Myanmar. Some of them will come back to work with us during our next season (we're still working on it to set up the program).
At the moment, they need some help for their future. That's why they've launched this crowd funding campaign to help Fekat transport a circus tent from France to Ethiopia. The tent needs to travel 8,000km to reach Addis Ababa ! If you can help, do it ! If not, don't forget to share it with all your friends ! Thanks a lot. Smiles and all my friendship to everyone !
