We are excited to present the first group art exhibition by Yaung Sone Collective, which will be held throughout June at Lann Sone Cafe, located inside Institut Français de Birmanie (iFB), beginning on June 6, 2026.

The exhibition will showcase artworks created by artists from the Yaung Sone collective, expressing their personal perspectives, experiences, and interpretations of q***r identity and existence.

In addition, a Live Drawing Session will take place on the weekends throughout the exhibition days. We warmly invite everyone to come and enjoy the exhibition and support the artists.

ဂျေဂျေးသည် သန်လျင်၊ ရန်ကုန်အခြေစိုက် လွတ်လပ်သော အနုပညာလုပ်ငန်းဆိုင်ရာလုပ်သားတစ်ဦးဖြစ်ပြီး ၎င်းနှင့်ပတ်သတ်သည့်စီမံခန့်ခွဲခြင်း၊ ကျူရေးရှင်း၊ လွတ်လပ်သောစာပေထုတ်ဝေရေးလုပ်ငန်းစဉ်များနှင့် အနုပညာဆိုင်ရာပညာရေးကဏ္ဍများကို ပေါင်းစပ်လုပ်ကိုင်လျက်ရှိပါသည်။ spaces-31 နှင့် Myanm/art contemporary art space တွင် အစပြုပါဝင်လုပ်ကိုင်ခဲ့သည့် အတွေ့အကြုံများမှတစ်ဆင့် Izana Gallery နှင့် Coming From Kalaw Co. Jae Jae (b. 2002)

Jae Jae a.k.a Khine Thazin Aung is an independent art practitioner currently based in Thanlyin, Yangon, whose practice integrates arts management, curation, independent publishing, and community arts education. Her career in the art sector evolved through hands-on experiences at spaces-31 and Myanm/art contemporary art space, and later expanded through Izana Gallery and Coming From Kalaw Co. Ltd., shaping a practice grounded in the realities of managing art spaces.

Jae Jae runs သံပရာနဲ့သံပယို (pronounced: Thanbuya Ne Thanpayo), a label dedicated to promoting localized DIY zines and independent publishing entities. She is also a proud member of ရောင်စုံ Yaung Sone Collective, dedicated to uplifting Myanmar's creative q***r communities. She spearheads operations for k-real Art Education and English Language School, managing day-to-day realities to build accessible art education programs with sustainability at their core for continuous learners.

Evelina သည် မြန်မာပြည်အခြေစိုက် ကွီယာအနုပညာရှင်တစ်ယောက်ဖြစ်ပြီး သူမလက်ရာများတွင် ပညာရေးမှတစ်ဆင့် အသိုင်းအဝိုင်းတည်ဆောက်ခြင်း၊စိတ်ကျန်းမာရေးဆိုင်ရာ အတွေးအခေါ်များ၊ လူ့အခွင့်အရေးနှင့်တရားမျှတမှုတို့ အပါအဝင် လူမှုရေးဆိုင်ရာအကြောင်းအရာများကို အဓိကထား ဖန်တီးသည်။ Evelina သည် မိမိကိုယ်ပိုင် ရှုထောင့်နှင့် ဘဝအတွေ့အကြုံများမှ အတွေးများ ဆွဲထုတ်လျက် မတူကွဲပြားမှုနှင့် အသိုင်းအဝိုင်းပါဝင်ပတ်သက်မှုတို့ကိုမတူကွဲပြားသော ကြားခံပစ္စည်းများဖြင့် လက်ရာများ ဖန်တီးလျှက်ရှိသည်။

Evelina (b. 2000), Myanmar, is a q***r visual artist, currently based in Yangon, Myanmar. She has an educational background in Bachelor of Art in Tourism and Hospitality Management from National Management Degree College Yangon, Myanmar and is now pursuing the Diploma in Psychology.

Her works explore the themes of social concerns including gender and q***r issues, community building through education, environmental sustainability, mental health, human rights and social justice. Working across a diverse range of mediums, Evelina creates with a commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and community engagement, drawing from her personal lens and lived experiences.

“ရောင်စုံ” ရဲ့ အဖွဲ့ဝင် Artist တစ်ယောက်ဖြစ်တဲ့ Wet Paint Dreams နဲ့မိတ်ဆက်ပေးပါရစေ

ဆေးရောင်စိုစိုအိပ်မက်များ (Wet Paint Dreams) သည် ရန်ကုန်မြို့မှ စာရင်းကိုင်တစ်ဦးတဖြစ်လဲ ပန်းချီရေးသူတစ်ဦးလည်းဖြစ်ပါသည်။

သူသည် ၂၀၁၉ ခုနှစ်တွင် စာရင်းကိုင်အလုပ်ကို စတင်လုပ်ကိုင်ခဲ့သော်လည်း ၂၀၂၀ ခုနှစ် ကိုဗစ်ကာလအတွင်းတွင်မူ ဘဝက မမျှော်လင့်ဘဲ တစ်ဆစ်ချိုး ပြောင်းလဲသွားခဲ့သည်။ အိမ်တွင်း၌သာ အချိန်ကုန်ဆုံးခဲ့ရခြင်းကြောင့် သူ၏ အာရုံစိုက်မှုသည် စာရင်းကိုင်ပညာရပ်မှ ပန်းချီဆွဲခြင်းဘက်သို့ ကူးပြောင်းသွားခဲ့ပြီး ဤကဏ္ဍနှစ်ရပ်စလုံးကို ဟန်ချက်ညီညီ လုပ်ဆောင်နိုင်ခဲ့သည်။ လကုန်ပိုင်း စာရင်းဇယား အစီရင်ခံစာများ ပိတ်ခြင်းမှစ၍ နောက်ဆုံးလက်ရာ ပန်းချီကားများကို အချောသတ်သည်အထိ၊ သူသည် ကိန်းဂဏန်းလောကနှင့် အရောင်အသွေးလောက နှစ်ခုစလုံးကြားတွင် အလုပ်များရင်း စီးမျောနိုင်မည့် နည်းလမ်းကို ရှာဖွေတွေ့ရှိခဲ့သည်။

Wet Paint Dreams is an accountant and a painter from Yangon.

He started working as an accountant in 2019 but things took an unexpected turn during the COVID-19 lockdown of 2020. Forced to stay at home, his focus shifted from accountancy training to painting, and this dual role took off. From closing the month-end statements and reports to finishing up his latest painting, he found a way to keep himself busy and flowing in both worlds of numerology and colours.

SC**ZO သည် ရန်ကုန်အခြေစိုက် mixed-media artist နှင့် ဆေးဝါးပညာရှင်တစ်ဦးဖြစ်ပြီး၊ သူမ၏အနုပညာလက်ရာများတွင် စိတ်ခံစားမှုများ နှင့် စိတ်ကူးစိတ်သန်းများကို ပေါင်းစပ်ကာ expressive paintingများဖြင့်ဖော်ထုတ်ရေးသားတတ်သူတစ်ဦးဖြစ်ပါသည်။ အ‌ရောင်များနှင့် layered textures များကို အသုံးပြုကာ ပန်းချီဆွဲခြင်းသည် သူမအတွက် စိတ်ထွက်ပေါက်တစ်ခု ဖြစ်စေပြီး မိမိကိုယ်ကို ရှာဖွေဖော်ထုတ်ရာနေရာတစ်ခုလည်း ဖြစ်သည်။

SC**ZO is a Yangon-based mixed-media artist and pharmacist whose work explores emotion and inner feelings through expressive
painting. Using colour and layered textures, painting serves as an emotional outlet and a space for self-discovery.

စွမ်းဦးက ပင်လယ်အကြောင်းပုံပြင်ပြောသူ တစ်ဦးပါ။ စေတနာ၀န်ထမ်းခြင်းကို အသက်၁၆နှစ်ထဲက တစိုက်
မတ်မတ်အားထုတ်နေသူပါ။ ရန်ကုန်မြို့အခြေစိုက်
ကြားခံနယ်စုံအနုပညာပြပွဲတွေမှာ လေ့လာသူတစ်ဦးအနေနဲ့ စွမ်းဦးကိုတွေ့နိုင်ပါတယ်။ လက်ရှိမှာ ကလေးတွေအတွက် ပုံပြင်ပြောပြီး၊ လူကြီးတွေအတွက် စာတစ်ချို့တစ်လေ ရေးပါတယ်။ ထိလွယ်ရှလွယ်ဖြစ်နေတဲ့ သဘာ၀ပတ်၀န်းကျင်အရေးကို စိတ်ပါ၀င်စားပြီး လူသားတွေ စိတ်အားထက်သန်တဲ့ အနုပညာနဲ့ ယဉ်ကျေးမှု အခင်းအကျင်းပေါင်းစုံကို ဆက်လက်လေ့လာသွားဖို့ စိတ်အားထက်သန်နေပါတယ်။ လိင်စိတ်ခံယူချက်အပေါ် မည်သူ့ကိုမှ မေးခွန်းထုတ်ခွင့်မပေးလိုသူ ကွီယာ ဖြစ်သော်လည်း လူတိုင်း ကိုယ့် စိတ်သဘောကျ လိင်စိတ်ခံယူခွင့်ရှိအောင် အသံပြုပေးနေပါတယ်။

Swan Oo is an ocean storyteller. He has been a volunteer since he was 16 years old. He also works as an observer for multimedia art exhibitions in Yangon. Currently, he tells stories for children and writes social media contents for adults. He is passionate about environmental issues and loves exploring the diverse art and cultures that inspire humanity.
As a q***r person, he believes everyone's sexuality should be respected without question.
