"ပိတ်စတစ်စသာဖြစ်တဲ့ ထဘီနဲ့ ယောကျာ်းတစ်ယောက်ရဲ့ဘုန်းကံ ဘာမှမပတ်သတ်ဘဘူး။ ကျားဝတ် မဝတ်အကုန်လုံးရော လျှော်တယ်"

"ကျွန်မကအယူမရှိပေမဲ့ ယောက္ခမဆန္ဒအရထမီနဲ့ တခြားအဝတ်စတွေကို ရောမလျှော် မလှန်းရဘူး။"

စိုးအေးထက်
"လူတစ်ယောက်ရဲ့ ကိုယ်ကျင့်တရားဟာ ထမိန်တစ်ထည်ပေါ်မှာ မူမတည်ဘူး လျှော်တဲ့အခါ ရောလျှော်တယ်။"

I have lived together with my grandmothers who are old fashioned. They used to teach me the custom that a man’s “hpone”(spiritual power) depends on a woman htamein, but I didn’t accept that idea. Woman’s htamein is just a piece of cloth.

“It’s true the artist requested our old ‘htamein’ to paint on, but since he’s a man, I gave him a new one. I was worried his ‘hphone’ would be affected.”

TASTE — Coming From Kalaw (CFK) ရဲ့ creative service တစ်ခုဖြစ်ပြီး အနုပညာ၊ အစားအစာနဲ့ ဘဝဇာတ်ကြောင်းတွေကို ပေါင်းစပ်ပြီး အနုပညာကို ခံစားနိုင်မယ့် အတွေ့အကြုံအသစ်တစ်ခုကို ဖန်တီးပေးနေပါတယ်။

ဒီဗီဒီယိုမှာ TASTE Session 03 — အနုပညာရှင် ကိုခင်ဇော်လတ် နဲ့အတူ ဖန်တီးခဲ့တဲ့ မှတ်တမ်းအတွေ့အကြုံရဲ့ နောက်ကွယ်က အကြောင်းအရာတွေ ကို ကြည့်ရှုနိုင်ပါတယ်။ ဒီ Session အတွက် သူ့ရဲ့ အနုပညာခရီး၊ ပန်းချီလက်ရာတွေနောက်ကွယ်က အမှတ်တရတွေ၊ အတွေးအမြင်တွေနဲ့ ဖန်တီးမှုဖြစ်စဉ်တွေကို လေ့လာပြီး အဲ့ဒီအကြောင်းအရာတွေကနေ အစားအစာအတွေ့အကြုံတစ်ခုအဖြစ် ပြန်လည်ဖန်တီးခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ပန်းချီကားတွေ၊ ကိုယ်ပိုင်အမှတ်တရတွေ၊ စကားဝိုင်းတွေကနေတစ်ဆင့် ဘဝအတွေ့အကြုံတွေဟာ အနုပညာဖန်တီးမှုတွေအဖြစ် ဘယ်လိုပြောင်းလဲလာသလဲဆိုတာကို မျှဝေခဲ့ပါတယ်။

Close-up looks from TASTE: Session 03 — works by artist Khin Zaw Latt

ယခုပန်းချီကားများက သူ၏ဖန်တီးမှု လမ်းကြောင်းသစ်တစ်ခုကို မီးမောင်းထိုးပြနေခြင်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ သေချာပုံဖော်ထားပြီးသား ရုပ်ပုံတစ်ပုံကနေ စတင်ခြင်းမဟုတ်ဘဲ ပြန့်ကျဲသွားအောင် ရေရောထားသော အနက်ရောင် acrylic ဆေးများကို ကင်းဗတ်စ်ပေါ်သို့ စီးကျစေကာ ကမ္ဘာ့ဆွဲအား၊ ရေ၏ စီးဆင်းမှုနှင့် မတော်တဆ ပေါ်ထွက်လာမှုတို့မှတစ်ဆင့် ပထမဆုံးသော အမှတ်အသားများကို ပုံဖော်စေခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ထို့နောက်မှ တဖြည်းဖြည်း ပေါ်လာသော ပုံရိပ်များကို ကြည့်ရှုကာ တုံ့ပြန်ပုံဖော်သွားခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

သူ့အတွက် ပန်းချီဆွဲခြင်းဆိုတာ ထိန်းချုပ်ကွပ်ကဲနေခြင်းထက် လက်လွှတ်လိုက်ခြင်း သဘောတရားတစ်ခုပင် ဖြစ်တယ်လို့ ပြောဖြစ်ကြပါတယ်။ သဘာဝရှုခင်း ဆိုတာဟာလည်း ကြိုတင်စီမံထားခြင်းမျိုး မဟုတ်ဘဲ စောင့်ကြည့်လေ့လာမှု၊ အမှတ်တရများ၊ စိတ်ကူးစိတ်သန်းတို့မှတစ်ဆင့် ပုံရိပ်အဖြစ် ဖြည်းဖြည်းချင်း ပေါ်ထွက်လာခြင်း ဖြစ်ပြန်ပါတယ်။

မိုးရာသီရဲ့ တိတ်ဆိတ်ငြိမ်သက်သော အငွေ့အသက်နှင့် မိုနေး (Monet) ၏ ကြာကန်ကဲ့သို့သော နေရာများအပေါ် ရင်ထဲကျန်ရစ်သည့် အဝေးမှ ခရီးသွားအမှတ်တရများ၏ စိမ့်ဝင်လှုံ့ဆော်မှုဖြင့် ဖန်တီးထားသော ယခုပန်းချီကားများက ပထဝီသဘောသဘာဝ နေရာဒေသတစ်ခုဆိုတာထက် ခံစားချက်နဲ့သက်ဆိုင်တဲ့ ရှုခင်းမြင်ကွင်းများ (emotional landscapes) သာလျှင် ဖြစ်ကြပါပေတယ်။

These works mark a new direction in his practice. Rather than beginning with a fixed image, he starts by pouring diluted black acrylic onto the canvas, allowing gravity, water, and chance to shape the first marks. He then responds to what gradually appears.

For him, painting is an act of letting go rather than taking control. The landscape is not planned; it slowly emerges through observation, memory, and imagination.

Inspired by the quiet atmosphere of the rainy season and distant memories of places like Monet’s lotus pond, these paintings become emotional landscapes rather than geographical ones.

TASTE ဆိုတာ Session တစ်ခုချင်းစီတိုင်းမှာ အနုပညာရှင်တစ်ယောက်ရဲ့ ဘဝခရီးလမ်းနဲ့ လက်ရာတွေကို အစားအသောက်တွေကနေတစ်ဆင့် ပြန်လည်ခံစားကြည့်နိုင်မယ့် Curated Dining Series တစ်ခု ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ဒီပွဲလေးကို ပိုပြီးအဓိပ္ပာယ်ရှိအောင် တက်ရောက်ပေးခဲ့ကြတဲ့သူတစ်ယောက်ချင်းစီကို ကျေးဇူးအများကြီးတင်ပါတယ်။ နောက်ထပ် Session တွေမှာ ပြန်တွေ့ကြမယ်နော်။

We’re really happy that TASTE – Session 03, a collaboration between Coming From Kalaw (CFK) and .ygn , could offer a different kind of experience for art lovers in Yangon.

It was a warm afternoon full of conversations, laughter, and good food. Chef Orng created a special five-course menu inspired by the life stories, memories and paintings of artist , with the overall narrative curated by Coming From Kalaw.

The courses followed the artist’s journey:
• Shared Beliefs
• Remembered Landscapes
• A Memory that Stays
• Changing Ways of Seeing
• What Remains

TASTE is a curated dining series where each session focuses on one artist, their journey, and their work, translated into food and shared around the table.

ရန်ကုန်၊ တိုကျိုနဲ့ ဟောင်ကောင်မြို့တွေမှာ ပြသခဲ့ဖူးတဲ့ ပန်းချီဦးထိန်လင်းရဲ့ “Skirting The Issue Series” ပြန်လည်ပြသပွဲကို လာရောက်အားပေးကြည့်ရှုခဲ့ကြတဲ့ ဧည့်သည်များရဲ့ အမှတ်တရ ပုံရိပ်အချို့ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်ရှင်။
ဒီပြပွဲမှာ ပန်းချီကားတွေအပြင် ပန်းပုလက်ရာတစ်ခုကိုပါ အတူတကွ ရှုစားနိုင်မှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒါ့အပြင် ဒီလက်ရာတွေကို ဘယ်လိုအကြောင်းရာတွေကြောင့် ဖန်တီးဖြစ်ခဲ့လဲဆိုတဲ့ အကြောင်းတွေကိုပါ လေ့လာခံစားနိုင်ဖို့ ကျွန်မတို့ရဲ့ ComingFromKalaw_Art Space ကို လာရောက်လည်ပတ်ဖို့ ဖိတ်ခေါ်လိုက်ရပါတယ်ရှင်။
