We are devastated to announce the passing of our dearest Sekou Camara - teacher, advisor, scholar, joker, goofball, wise friend, and mentor to Malians and Americans alike.

Thank you, Sekou, for all you have done for us and for Malian culture worldwide. You will be sorely missed, and strongly remembered.
