We are delighted to invite you to apply for the 34th edition of SKOMRAHI – International Meetings of Academies and Faculties for Dramatic Arts, taking place during the first week of November 2026 in Skopje, hosted by the Faculty of Dramatic Arts – Skopje (FDA). The festival will be held across our faculty and various cultural venues throughout the city.
Since 1988, SKOMRAHI has evolved from a gathering of regional drama academies into an international festival of theatre, creativity, and artistic exchange, welcoming participants from around the world. It celebrates diverse artistic voices and creates a space where future theatre-makers can meet, perform, experiment, and connect.
This year, we invite you to imagine, question, and create. In a time marked by political, economic, and environmental uncertainty, we believe art remains a powerful force for reflection, resistance, and transformation.
Rather than giving in to despair, let’s come together through theatre, movement, conversation, and collective creativity. Let’s celebrate joy, connection, and community, and explore how artistic practice can help shape a better future.
