Fame's - Orchestral Performing Institute is a creative orchestral program for skilled young musicians in the field of Orchestral music.

With Seminar 12 ending a week ago, we invite you to take a glimpse with us through the two weeks that we had the pleasure to host an incredible set of mentors, conductors, composers, and musicians alike — day by day.

FAME'S Institute is currently accepting applications for the Film Music Orchestral Course led by Alastair King, from the 14th of July until the 19th of July, 2026.

Here’s what you should include in your application:

Subject line: Composers for July 2026 - FAME’S Institute

Your full name and phone number

CV/Resume in English

Motivational letter in English

2 to 4 different scores in PDF format

Audio links (YouTube or Google Drive), accordingly

The deadline to apply is May 25th, 2026.

The program offers a fully funded scholarship (including meals, accommodation, transport related to artistic activities, and transport to and from the airport) to selected participants, so there’s no participation fee if you're selected.

The only expenses you will have are your travel expenses to and from Skopje.

A little glimpse through the lens of cinematic intimacy and orchestral highs brought by our Seminar 12 participants last night in Bitola's Officers' Hall, concluding their "From Classics to Cinema" course and, with the same performance, officially closing our 12th FAME'S Institute Seminar.

One big and heartfelt Thank You from all of us at FAME'S for two weeks of beautifully human moments, from intensive moments of practice to endless nights of conversation to final tears as everyone departs along their own ways. To all of you that partook in all of this: This moment is yours. Thank you for spending it with us, over here at FAME'S.

We hope to see you all again very soon. In the meantime, this is: From Classics to Cimema: The Final Performance.

We had visitors today! Coming from OOU "Krum Toshev", our youth orchestra had even younger minds come see them play, and look inside both the booth and from within of our very own FAME'S Studio.

In this continuation to the first course of Seminar 12, our orchestra continued to explore the art of recording by participating in a slew of rehearsals, composer presentations, and various lectures on orchestrating and recording for film and media.

Welcome to the in February 2026! We had a lot going on this month, and we'd be remiss if we didn't dedicate the month to all our lovely participants that stayed at our Institute for Seminar 11! Thank you all for being part of our big European adventure. 🎻

Take a glimpse at Seminar 11's first of two concerts in the Macedonian Philharmonic, helmed by Daniel Rowland and the Orchestra. Featuring Peteris Vasks' "Musica dolorosa" , Richard Strauss' "Metamorphosen" , and Philip Glass' "The American Four Seasons", our Philharmonic last night burst with a compounding of feeling, passion, and an unnerving degree of intensity.
