Pavel Haas.

🎻 Joining the students of the FAME’S Institute on stage will be the Kyan Quartet — an award-winning ensemble founded in 2020, bringing together young musicians from the UK, USA, China, and France. They have performed at Wigmore Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, Beethoven-Haus, the Shanghai Opera House, and the Shenzhen Symphony Hall, and have worked under the mentorship of members of the Belcea, Doric, Jerusalem, and Pavel Haas Quartets.

📝 The program features a selection of string quartet works from different eras and stylistic periods — from Mozart and Beethoven, through Dvořák, Arensky, and Schumann to Shostakovich. The diverse musical languages, characters, and expressive approaches will allow the audience to experience the richness and variety of the string quartet repertoire in a single evening.

🎼 The concert is part of the eight-day residential program of the FAME’S Institute, organized in collaboration with Le Dimore del Quartetto. As part of the program, selected chamber ensembles from across Europe are staying in Skopje, working under the mentorship of the Kyan Quartet, and exploring the world of professional studio recording.
