On June 12, 2022, in the village of Selemet, district Cimislia, you are invited to iProsop, a festival that will present you the most interesting traditions for the holiday of the Great Sunday (Duminica Mare). The event brings back into the focus of nowadays’ society the culture, age old traditions and the genuine value of crafts. It also uncovers the economical, social and cultural potential of a
typical Southern village from Moldova – Selemet. A vibrant exhibition of traditional towels and other crafts is the perfect opportunity for an open-air educational entertainment for locals as well as for visitors. The event will also comprise a series of master classes for children and adults in:
- Traditional towel weaving;
- Informational crafts workshops;
- Tutorial crafts workshops;
- Weaving and embroidery workshops;
This is the event that takes you on an adventurous trip to see your motherland’s cultural treasures, it shows you that traditional and modern are two concepts that combine very well.

Время и место проведения: 12 июня 2022, День Святой Троицы, с. Селемет, р-н Чимишлия. iProsop посвящен традициям ручного ткачества и вышивки рушников, а также предпринимательским механизмам продвижения культуры.
В рамках этого мероприятия мы предложим гостям возможность открыть для себя всю колоритность традиционных молдавских домотканых рушников, познакомиться с историей возникновения и технологией этого ремесла, способствуя тем самым широкой популяризации молдавских национальных полотенец. iProsop стал возможным при содействие Проекта USAID EDGE Buy-in для поддержки конкурентоспособности в легкой промышленности и туризме Молдовы.
