JUICY DREAMS by Vassia 007 & Q***r Cafe is a try-out ballroom session created for everyone who is curious about ballroom and wants to take their first steps on the floor. No experience needed! This is a space for newbies to explore, try, learn, walk, perform, and feel the energy of ballroom in a supportive and playful atmosphere.

This space is created as a safe space first and foremost for BIPOC people. We welcome everyone who comes with kindness, and respect for the ballroom culture and the people who carry it.

The theme is summer, tropical, juicy fantasy. Come in an outfit with prints inspired by hot days, beach dreams, and island energy. Think:
🍍 pineapples
🌴 palm trees
🌺 tropical flowers like hibiscus, orchids, plumeria
🍋 exotic fruits like lemons, oranges, watermelon
🌿 tropical leaves like monstera or banana leaves
🦜 exotic birds like parrots or flamingos
🐚 sea elements like shells, starfish, coral
Or any other aesthetic that matches the summer vibe. The more colorful, juicy, and tropical your print is, the better.

Acesta este un spațiu pentru începători, unde puteți explora, și învăța despre ballroom într-o atmosferă susținătoare.

Tema este vara, tropicele, fantezie umede. Vino într-o ținută cu printuri inspirate de zilele fierbinți și plajă. Gândește-te la:

Synopsis:
It’s about a girl that feels pressured to choose a traditional lifestyle, that doesn’t match her true desires and identity. The paralysis of choosing wrong keeps her still until it gets unbearable

One of them is “Cernoziom” by Daniela.

Synopsis:
After being verbally assaulted on the streets of Chișinău because of her sexual orientation, a vulnerable young woman finds refuge in nature, where she discovers in the earth „the chernozem soil” the ultimate truth that frees her from society’s prejudices: in the face of death and nature, all people are absolutely equal. Through this realization, she finds the courage to transform a social trauma into a profound existential revelation about equality and freedom.

As we wrap up the festival, we invite you to explore the short films created during this year’s filmmaking workshop.

One of them is “Libido” by Vladlena.

Synopsis:
A chamber psychological drama about Vlada, a lonely and emotionally exhausted girl who finds warmth and care with two girls after returning home on a rainy evening.
As Vlada grows attached to both of them, hidden jealousy and emotional tension begin to surface. After confessing a traumatic childhood experience, she shatters their fragile sense of safety, but in the finale takes her first step toward trust and self-acceptance through a quiet touch of the hand.

Ceremonia de închidere a Festivalului ✨

O seară în care am celebrat oamenii din spatele festivalului, rezultatele workshopurilor și momentele create împreună în aceste zile. Mulțumim echipei, voluntarilor și tuturor celor care au contribuit cu timp, energie și grijă pentru ca acest festival să existe ❤️

„Pe eticheta ta ce scrie?” a adus pe scenă șase persoane q***r care și-au spus propriile povești prin texte personale, fragmente de ritual, confesiune și confruntare.

Performance-ul a pornit de la figuri considerate „monstruoase” sau „periculoase”: vrăjitoarea, îngerul căzut, vârcolacul, Medusa, vampirul și chimera și le-a transformat în simboluri ale supraviețuirii, identității și puterii q***r. Spectacolul a vorbit despre etichetele puse de familie, școală, societate și politică, dar și despre întrebarea care rămâne în centru: „Cine sunt eu?”

Mulțumim performerilor, mentorului Pavel Medeea și tuturor celor care au fost alături de noi.
