role as inspiring role models for the younger generation. The aim is to promote sport’s ethical and moral values as an ideal to motivate people, especially the young, to excel. The award winners gain entry to the Pantheon of World Sporting Legends by leaving their hand prints as a symbol of man and of all humanity.

The World Sports Legends Award proudly celebrated some of the greatest names in international sport at its 2nd Award Ceremony.

The World Sports Legends Award had the honor of celebrating Armin Zöggeler, Olympic champion and one of the greatest icons of Italian sport.
During the ceremony held at the Fairmont Monte Carlo, Armin Zöggeler received the prestigious WSLA Award in the presence of H.E. Cristiano Gallo, Ambassador of Italy to Monaco, with the ceremony hosted by Lorena Baricalla, Master of Ceremonies.
