📣 Important update for the superyacht community calling at📍Vigo, Spain.
Following recent discussions around yacht crew immigration formalities, our Spain Managing Partner Antonella Della Pietra and local agent Benito Perez met today with the Head of Puerto de Vigo Authority, the Head of Vigo National Police and Border Control, and representatives of Marina Dávila — and the conversation could not have gone better.
Crew stamp-in and stamp-out formalities are back to normal.
The situation has been fully clarified and resolved: yacht crews calling at Vigo can once again complete their immigration formalities smoothly and without complications, exactly as before.
Vigo has always been a welcoming port for the superyacht community — and that has not changed. A key stop on the Atlantic circuit, a well-established hub for shipbuilding and refit, and a port with deep maritime roots, Vigo carries a seafaring spirit that extends to everyone who calls here. The message from the authorities today was unambiguous: yacht crews are welcome in Vigo.
We are deeply grateful to the Port Authority, the Border Control, Marina Dávila and all those who approached this with openness and a genuine willingness to find the right solution together. It was, above all, a conversation between people who care about this port and what it stands for.
To every yacht captain and crew member planning their next passage: Vigo is ready for you. 🤝
