I love sharing the process. Every step of making a artwork becomes forever part of it — the mood, the feelings, the thoughts, the music and stories I immerse myself in… it all lives within the work.
These pieces are works in progress, part of my current body of work titled “Factory of Hope”. This series was born from a deep need — in my mind and in my heart — to understand how hope works. So far, one thought keeps returning: hope is a matter of connection to our true nature, as humans

Citadelle is one of the works in the Concrete Forest series, a series that explores light, inspired by the reflections of light on concrete and on skin.

This work, Citadel, holds a special place in my heart. It helped me reconcile with my own citadel; as I was painting it, a space opened up at the same time.

Citadelle — behind visible worlds lie invisible ones: the realms of the heart and the mind, and the infinity that exists between them.

A space to be protected, where everything is built. And at the same time, for some, a territory to conquer—an attention to be monetized.

Citadelle is part of the Concrete Forest series, exploring light through its reflections on concrete and on skin.
Presented off-site during 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair.

Citadelle, because behind the visible worlds lie the invisible ones—the worlds of the heart and the mind, and the infinity that exists between them. An infinity of possibilities within a world in motion. A mirror of a time where walls are fragile, where everything wants to enter this wondrous world where everything is created. My mind, my heart, and the infinity that exists between them.

A rain of wonders, a field of possibilities, an opening.
It is a space to be cherished, because everything is built there; and at the same time, for some, it is a territory to be conquered, a market to be seized, an attention to be monetized.

Citadelle is one of the works in the Concrete Forest series, a series that explores light, inspired by the reflections of light on concrete and on skin.

This work, Citadelle, holds a special place in my heart. It helped me reconcile with my own citadel; as I was painting it, a space opened up at the same time.

« The most personal questions are the most universal. »— Carl Rogers
What I experience in my inner space — my own mind — is most likely lived elsewhere too. We share this humanity, woven of many narratives, shaping both our present and our future.
As an artist, I paint my perception of the world: my own. That of a person who easily feels saturated, who longs for slowness, silence, and contemplation. Speed unsettles me, so I do what I can to adapt.
I am in search of wisdom and understanding of this era, like those before me who tried to interpret the times they lived in. I believe everything is connected, that reality cannot be fragmented, and that the world can only be understood as a whole.
This is my personal truth, which I try to share with honesty and authenticity.
