Belle en Amélou, 2025.

Ik heb veel donderdagen met deze twee lieve meiden doorgebracht. Zoveel, dat ze bijna aanvoelen als familie. Belle is drie, en ik ken haar al de helft van haar leven, een gek idee eigenlijk.
Ze betekenen veel voor mij. In mijn werk zoek ik altijd naar precies dat: iets met liefde en aandacht doen, zodat elke dag voelt als een toevoeging in plaats van een verplichting.
Volgend jaar gaat Belle naar school. Misschien komt er dan een einde aan onze middagen samen. Deze beelden herinneren me aan onze band, aan de kleine momenten vol spel, rust en nabijheid.
Met mijn camera hou ik de tijd even vast. Bevries ik een gevoel. Zo blijven herinneringen langer leven, niet alleen in beeld, maar ook in mij.
