Feeling a bit mentally clogged? 🧠💨

I have got a new piece up on Substack. It is called “Where’s Your Mind Loo?”

In it, I talk about:
🐣 Why Easter isn’t really my thing
🎭 A 10-day Vipassana retreat that changed how I think about thinking
🧠 What “mind-sh*tting” means (and why we all need to do more of it)

Also my monthly favourites – including a book on grief that is moving and hilarious at the same time, an Armenian lament that gives me chills, and a writing masterclass that sent me a personalised reading list

If you have ever felt overwhelmed by your own thoughts, or just fancy a read that is part reflection and part spring vibes, this one is for you.

I would love to know – where is YOUR mind loo? Mine is the kitchen while cooking or a solitary walk in nature. Tell me yours in the comments 👇

🌟 “I am an ordinary woman who chooses each day to make at least one extraordinary decision.” – Lisa Nichols 🌟

I love the simplicity of this idea! Extraordinary change doesn’t always stem from dramatic moments; often, it is the small, conscious choices we make every day that lead to transformation.

When was the last time you made an extraordinary decision in your life? ✨

If you are ready to step gently beyond your routine, check out the self-exploration idea I shared recently on Substack—a little invitation to surprise yourself! The link is in bio.

The photo is my extraordinary moment from last week with my lovely niece Ada.

Let’s embrace those extraordinary moments together! 💖

✨ “Hips are wide for a reason; within them lies a cradle of satin ivory for new life.” – Clarissa P. Estes ✨

I love this image — the quiet strength of the body, holding space for creation and possibility. Our bodies aren’t just functional; they carry mystery, rhythm, and potential.

So often we move too fast to notice the sacred geometry within us; the curves, the sway, the quiet power that has always been there.

This reminded me of my recent self-exploration note on Substack, where I invite you to slow down, notice your movement, and feel your own rhythm. Sometimes pausing and tuning in to your body can open a space for curiosity, creativity, and awe.

🌟✨ Dare to Fly! ✨🌟
“Come to the edge,” he said.
“We can’t, we’re afraid!” they responded.
“Come to the edge,” he said.
“We can’t, we will fall!” they responded.
“Come to the edge,” he said.
And so they came.
And he pushed them.
And they flew. 🕊️

This beautiful excerpt from Guillaume Apollinaire’s poem perfectly encapsulates my transformative five-day immersive creative writing journey with Silk Road Slippers.

Curious about how this experience unfolded? 🌈

“It is easy to forget how mysterious and mighty stories are. They do their work in silence, invisibly. They work with all the internal materials of the mind and self. They become part of you while changing you.” – Ben Okri

When was the last time you listened to a story? 🌿

We have an online event for World Storytelling Day on 20th March. If you would like to join us, drop me a message.

You might also like to take a look at the self-exploration idea I posted last Sunday on Substack. A gentle invitation to reflect on your state of health; body, mind and spirit🌀 The link is in bio.

What if creativity isn’t something you have to chase but something that is already a part of you? ✨

In this episode, we are diving into a potent question: Is creativity part of us, or is it something separate; a force we tap into from the outside?

I share some of my own thoughts on this and I would love for you to sit with it too. What does your relationship with creativity actually look like?

Whether you think of yourself as a creative person or not, this one might resonate for you. Give it a listen — link in my bio! 🎙️

✨ So, what exactly is Stories Cure?
It is a question I get asked a lot.

This little clip is from a longer video over on Substack, where I share the story behind how Stories Cure came to life, and what you can expect when you join one of our monthly gatherings: storytelling, science, imagination, and a deeper, kinder relationship with your body.

If it sparks something in you, the full video is waiting for you on Substack — link in bio.

🗓 March gathering coming up!
📅 Tuesday, 24th March
⏰ 7:00 pm UTC | 8:00 pm CET | 2:00 pm ET
Registration link is in my bio, too 🥰

“ I was twelve years old, staring at a television screen.
The image was dark. Almost empty. Then I saw it. A red dot.
It moved in the blink of an eye. A moment later, a cloud rose and slowly shaped itself into a mushroom in the sky.

This looks like a video game. This can’t be real, I thought.

For the previous ten days, I had been happily munching red dots in endless mazes on my new birthday gift — a Commodore 64, playing Pac-Man. Red dots meant points. Red dots meant fun.

What I didn’t understand was that this red dot was killing real people.

It wasn’t a game.

It was the first live broadcast of a war scene.’’

👉 Check out my latest Substack post to witness the war from a twelve year old girl’s eyes. The link is in bio.

Let me know what part resonates with you most. 🧡
