📜 Competition Rules:
1️⃣ Eligibility:
- Only open to all bands or solo artists in Morocco🇲🇦, provided they are 18 years or older.
- Submissions must be covers of legally cleared metal and rock songs, ensuring no copyright infringement. Submitted works must be covers of well-known metal songs.
2️⃣ Registration:
- Complete the registration via an online form on our event's website here: https://www.darksiderecords.ma/mvcc
- 🗓️ Deadline for registration: 31/05/2024
3️⃣ Submission:
- Submission will be open the 09/06/2024 and close the 09/07/2024
- Only registered artists can submit to the contest.
- Submit your cover video in MP4 format, not exceeding 5 minutes.
- 🗓️ Deadline for submissions : 09/07/2024
4️⃣ Selection Criteria:
- Covers will be evaluated on technical quality, creativity, and the originality of interpretation.
- Use of visual or audio effects is permitted but must not alter the musical integrity of the performance.
- Participants can use visual or audio effects.
5️⃣ Voting System:
- Judging will be conducted by a panel of experts (40%) and public votes (60%) on the website. In case of a tie, an additional panel of judges will be consulted to determine the winner.
- Ensure fair play by adhering to the rules; any manipulation will result in disqualification.
- All votes will be performed directly on our website by giving an appreciation for each video.
6️⃣ Prizes:
Results will be tracked online and shared the 16/07/2024 :
- First place: 4000 MAD.
- Second place : 2000 MAD.
- Third place : 1000 MAD.
7️⃣ General Conditions:
- Participants' data will be handled in compliance with Morocco's data protection laws and will not be shared without consent.
- Any attempt at fraud or manipulation of the voting process will lead to immediate disqualification.
- Organizers reserve the right to adjust the competition rules or cancel the event if required by law.
