Cie Chara Cie Chara is a moroccan dance and visual arts company founded in 2022 by Yassine "Yoriyas" Alaoui Ismaili and Friederike "Frieda" Frost.

The work of Cie Chara highlights the rich cultural heritage of Morocco and hiphop dance cultures. Cie Chara is a young dance and visual arts company based in Morocco, founded in 2022 by Yassine Alaoui Ismaili and Friederike Frost, who have experience as performers, organisers, curators and choreographers in their own country Morocco and Germany for the past ten years. Their objective is to create creations that speak of a real Morocco and to spread them in Morocco as well as internationally (Europe, Africa) as well as to give a possibility to young dancers to become professional, with workshops on dance (practical as well as theoretical and multimedia) and regular trainings.
