Moroccan mosaic art is known around the world.
Each tabletop contains many hours of manual labor. Like hundreds of years ago, ceramic tiles are fired in ancient clay kilns. This results in color differences on the glaze and small inclusions in the ceramic. These irregularities give the tiles their typical character. Ceramic pieces are cut by hand with small sharp hammers. An iron frame with additional reinforcement is laid on the floor. Piece by piece, the craftsmen put the different ceramic pieces in this forum
