Sadness lingers in my heart,
A heavy weight that won't depart.
It fills my days and shadows my nights,
A constant presence that dims my light.
I try to push it away, to find some cheer,
But it always seems to linger near.
It whispers in my ear, a reminder of pain,
A ghost that haunts me, driving me insane.
But though it may seem dark and bleak,
There is always a way to find some peace.
For even in the depths of despair,
There is always a glimmer of hope somewhere.
So I'll keep on fighting, through the tears and the pain,
For I know that one day, the sun shines sgain
