Almost two decades of Platz für Tanz made it possible to hear in Latvia the music of the planet's major techno labels' founders:
Emmanuel (ARTS), Bas Mooy (MORD), Kr!z (Token), Slam DJs (Soma), Bloody Mary (Dame-Music), Paula Temple (Noise Manifesto), SHDW (Mutual Rytm), Svreca (Semantica), Umwelt (Rave Or Die) & others.

SPILVE is a legendary place in Riga. It was built in 1954 as the main Riga airport, but became secondary later in mid 70s, and closed by 90s. When rave movement took all over Latvia in 1995, SPILVE became one of the most important places which hosted the biggest events.

Platz für Tanz continues the tradition.

The exceptional example of Soviet empire architecture and carefully selected line-ups make SPILVE raves the unique experience you cannot find anywhere else.

Please remember: it is the national heritage building and should be treated with love and respect.
