For each exhibition, TUR invites the artist to develop an Exhibition Edition: a series of ten works that exist alongside the exhibition and respond to it. The edition supports the artist by supplementing their income through sales, while also contributing to the activities of TUR. For collectors and those new to collecting, the Exhibition Edition opens up a low-threshold way to engage with contemporary art, offering a work that carries a meaningful part of the exhibition at TUR, always priced under €100 for the duration of the exhibition.

Katras izstādes ietvaros TUR aicina mākslinieku izveidot Exhibition Edition - desmit darbu sēriju, kas pastāv līdzās izstādei un ir ar to cieši saistīta. Šī sērija sniedz atbalstu māksliniekam, papildinot viņa ienākumus ar darbu pārdošanu, vienlaikus atbalstot arī TUR darbību. Kolekcionāriem un tiem, kas tikai sāk iepazīt laikmetīgās mākslas kolekcionēšanu, Exhibition Edition piedāvā pieejamu un saprotamu iesaistes veidu - iespēju iegūt darbu, kas sevī nies būtisku daļu no TUR izstādes pieredzes un kas izstādes norises laikā vienmēr ir pieejams par cenu līdz 100 eiro.

Known for their interdisciplinary performances that merge precision and improvisation, reality and absurdity, Heliä Mailiis Viirakivi and Robert Fleitz are already known to the audiences of Rīga, having appeared together at TUR and at M/darbnīca. They respond to Beļavskis’s fictional world with a pair of new works. Each creates a single “micro-act” of an imagined opera about Dagne Daudere, the elusive fictional character at the exhibition’s center.
Musical materials start and then wander without resolution, like the doors leading to nowhere in the exhibition. Crystallized fragments of Heliä’s and Robert’s voices are chopped up and turned into electronic soundscapes, questioning what is real and what is fake, and what might be a copy of a copy.
With Robert and Heliä taking turns in the role of Dagne – sometimes apart and sometimes together, their two perspectives create a sound-world as unstable and uncanny as Beļavskis’s installation.

For the opening of “Luftslott: The Phenomenon of Dagne Daudere” by Krišjānis Beļavskis, TUR invited artist Kristers Krūms to document the event from his own unique perspective. To substitute for a human photographer, Kristers hired “man’s best friend,” Ogle the dog, because he was late for a concert. Consequently, the photos are captured from an extremely low angle.

“Luftslott: The Phenomenon of Dagne Daudere” can be seen till May 2nd - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 13:00 - 18:00

Krišjāņa Beļavska izstādes “Luftslott: Dagnes Dauderes fenomens” atklāšanas pasākumā TUR uzaicināja maklinieku Kristeru Krūmu dokumentēt notikumu no savas unikālās perspektīvas. Taču, tā kā viņš kavēja koncertu, Kristers nolīga “cilvēka labāko draugu”, suni Ogli, lai tas viņu aizstātu, tādēļ fotogrāfijas uzņemtas no neparasti zema skatpunkta.
