My calculator said €100. I charged €50 anyway. The calculation was correct. I had included the materials, my time, taxes and packaging.

But €50 felt safer.

I was afraid nobody would buy. I was afraid people would ask how I could charge so much. And I imagined my shelves full of jewelry that nobody wanted.

For a long time, I thought I needed a better pricing formula. I didn’t.

I needed the confidence to say the real price out loud.
