Registration for the 8th Cello Summer School in Kuldiga, Latvia is now open!

We are excited to invite you to join us for the 8th edition of the Cello Summer School in the stunning town of Kuldiga, Latvia! This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in a week of focused cello study in the charming birthplace of the legendary Davidoff.
Our participants, ranging from 8 to 30 years old, have traveled from all corners of the globe, including Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Sweden, Ukraine, Belarus, the UK, Norway, China, Taiwan and Brazil.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all participants, teachers, and supporters of the Seventh International Summer Cello School in Kuldīga! 🎻💛

The course came to a close last Sunday, and as I look back on the week, my heart is full. It was a joy and privilege to share this time with such a vibrant, talented, and generous group of people. The days were rich with music-making, discovery, and connection – a powerful reminder of what can be achieved when we come together with a shared passion.

To all the young cellists from Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden, Ukraine, Brazil, and Taiwan – thank you for your commitment, your musical sensitivity, and the warmth you brought to every moment. 🌍✨ You made this week unforgettable.

To our fantastic accompanists, Niina Uggeldahl and Magnus Sköld – your musicianship, calm presence, and endless support lifted every rehearsal and performance. 🎵

And to everyone who made this possible – fellow teachers, families, organizers, and friends – thank you for your invaluable contributions and encouragement throughout.

Friday's concert “Music That Unites the World” – a beautiful journey across borders and cultures that captured the spirit of everything we shared.
