❄️ ICE SCULPTURE PARK CLOSED!

Due to changing weather conditions, the sculptures have begun to lose their quality, and a decision has been made to permanently close the park.

Thank you to all visitors for your interest. See you at other events in Jelgava!

🌟 Sand sculptors, are you ready? 🏖️
Applications are now open for the 20th International Sand Sculpture Competition, taking place from May 16 to 23 in Jelgava!

This year’s theme – “Stories of the Jurassic” 🦖 – invites artists on an exciting journey millions of years back, when dinosaurs roamed vast forests, mysterious creatures ruled the seas 🌊, and the first conquerors of the skies glided above 🦅. It’s a time that reveals the power of nature, the laws of survival, and the harmony between life and the environment 🍃.
Artists are invited to apply by March 25th ✍️

❄️ The Ice Sculpture Park is Open – Make the Most of Your Weekend with a Beautiful Walk! ❄️
If you haven’t yet had the chance to see the ice sculptures, this weekend is the perfect time. A peaceful walk in the fresh air, impressive works of art, and a true winter atmosphere in the heart of the city – a wonderful plan for the day with family or friends.
The park is open daily from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Šiemet parke galima pamatyti 27-ąjį Tarptautinio ledo skulptūrų festivalio ledo meną tema „Iliuzijų galia“.
20 skulptorių iš 12 šalių – Argentinos, Indonezijos, Lenkijos, Mongolijos, Nyderlandų, Ukrainos, Ispanijos, Suomijos, Vokietijos, Estijos, Lietuvos ir Latvijos – sukūrė įspūdingas ledo skulptūras, kurios kviečia pasinerti į pasaulį, kur riba tarp realybės ir tariamo tampa trapi ir kintanti.
Skulptūrose atsiskleidžia tiek šiuolaikinio žmogaus santykiai su technologijomis, tiek gamtos, šviesos ir formos kuriamos iliuzijos, taip pat grožio, laimės ir vidinio pasaulio suvokimo įvairovė.
