Saeed Hani is a Syrian-German-Luxembourgish choreographer, director of Hani Dance, and artistic director of the Movement Art International Dance Festival in Trier and Luxembourg. His artistic work explores the complexity of the human condition through powerful visual imagery, physical intensity, and emotionally charged movement landscapes. Drawing inspiration from human stories, visual art, music, psychology, and cultural memory, Hani creates immersive worlds where movement becomes a language of vulnerability, tension, identity, desire, and transformation. As a q***r artist with Aramaic-Syrian roots, he often addresses themes such as war, ego, sexuality, the body, belonging, and social repression. His choreographic approach places dancers in highly specific emotional and physical environments, allowing authentic movement to emerge from instinct, memory, and lived experience. Through this process, he creates works that are visually striking, emotionally raw, and deeply human.

Hani Dance
Founded in 2016, Hani Dance began its journey with ONE NIGHT STAND, a work that gained attention in Germany and received international recognition at the Full Moon Dance Festival in Finland in 2018. Later that year, the company presented DEM MENSCHEN EIN WOLF in Germany. In 2019, DARK BIRD premiered at the Hong Kong International Choreography Festival, further establishing Hani Dance within the international contemporary dance landscape. In 2020, THE BLIND NARCISSIST premiered in Trier and was later presented through TROIS C-L’s HORS CIRCUIT programme in Luxembourg. The work toured internationally and was presented at TUFA Theater in Trier, Danza in Rete Festival in Vicenza (Italy), the International Festival of Contemporary Dance in Mexico City, and the East Point West Festival in San Luis Potosí (Mexico). Over the years, Hani Dance has been presented at numerous international festivals and venues, including the CHANGMU International Performing Arts Festival in Seoul, DIFFERENTI SENSAZIONI in Turin, Divadlo X10 in Prague, Luxembourg Pride, and ArcA Theater. In 2021, Hani collaborated with Italian-Luxembourgish choreographer Giovanni Zazzera on OUT OF RANGE, which was performed in Luxembourg and Germany.
In 2022, Saeed Hani was commissioned by Battery Dance Company in New York to create Wind in the Olive Grove. The work premiered at the Schimmel Center in New York and subsequently toured to Palestine, Houston, New York, Bremen, and Halle (Saale). His production INLET was developed during residencies at Uferstudios Berlin and in Trier and was later presented through TROIS C-L’s HORS CIRCUIT programme, the Lila López International Contemporary Dance Festival in Mexico, and the Akropoditi Dance Festival in Greece. In August 2024, INLET premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with seventeen performances and received a nomination for The List Award for Best Performance in Physical Theatre, Dance and Circus. Recent creations include KHAOS (2023), developed during a residency in Geneva and premiered in Luxembourg, and Wings of Wealth and Woe (2024), commissioned by the Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater Görlitz-Zittau. His latest work, Unveiling the Abstract (2025), was developed through artistic residencies supported by Réseau Grand Luxe, including TROIS C-L | Maison pour la danse (Luxembourg), Grand Studio (Brussels), POLE-SUD – CDCN Strasbourg, L’Abri (Geneva), and Onassis Stegi (Athens). The work premiered at Mierscher Theater in Luxembourg and Europahalle Trier in Germany before being presented at ArcA Theater in Luxembourg in 2026. Today, Saeed Hani’s works continue to tour internationally across Europe, Asia, North and South America, the Middle East, and the United States, resonating with audiences through their emotional honesty, physical intensity, and distinctive visual language. Alongside his choreographic practice, he remains dedicated to creating platforms for artistic exchange, dialogue, and cultural connection through both Hani Dance and the Movement Art International Dance Festival.

She studied live performance, art history, and cultural industries at the University of Metz. In 2012, she moved to Spain to train with CobosMika Company. She began her professional dancing career in 2013 and has since worked as a performer with various choreographers and artists across Europe, including Laura Vilar, Corinne Lanselle, Bernard Baumgarten, Helder Seabra, and Wayne Parsons. In 2016, she initiated her own choreographic work and founded her company within a cross- border dynamic between Luxembourg and the Grand Est region in France. Sarah Baltzinger has created several works, including FURY (2017), WHAT DOES NOT BELONG TO US (2018), and DON’T YOU SEE IT COMING (2020, selected for PSO – Petites Scènes Ouvertes in France). In 2021, she created ROUGE EST UNE COULEUR FROIDE, an experimental enclosed-format piece blending dance theatre and electronic music, combining absurdity and a bestiary-inspired aesthetic. In 2023, Sarah created VÉNUS ANATOMIQUE, a work for five female performers that has enjoyed significant success in France and internationally, and is still touring today.

Isaiah Wilson: began dancing at the age of 11. At 18, he entered the prestigious professional
contemporary dance school CODARTS in Rotterdam. Upon completing his studies, he undertook an internship with the renowned ICK Amsterdam dance company under the direction of Emio Greco and Pieter C. Scholten. He returned to Luxembourg in 2020 and collaborated with choreographer Jill Crovisier. He also worked with FOQUS, a leading audiovisual company within the Luxembourg cultural scene, where he refined his skills in film and cinematic techniques. In parallel, Isaiah composes music and develops strong expertise in sound design, with the aim of creating his own musical compositions. In 2022, Isaiah created a solo project entitled 331 grams. That same year, he was awarded Second Prize in the choreography category at the International Tanz Festival Stuttgart, which led to an international tour in 2022 and 2023 with the performance FÉVRIER. He wrote and directed a short dance film entitled SUBMERGE, immersing the audience in a unique choreographic experience underwater, forming part of a larger immersive installation. In 2023, Isaiah created a piece titled score, which brings together dance and scientific experimentation.

Ensemble:
In 2022, Sarah Baltzinger and Isaiah Wilson began working together in artistic co-direction and committed to the creation of several joint projects. Among them is the duet MEGASTRUCTURE, which has achieved strong international recognition. In June 2023, they received multiple awards at the prestigious RIDCC (Rotterdam International Duet Choreographic Competition), including the XL Production Award, as well as four partner awards from Nederlands Dans Theater, Skånes Dansteater, Sally Dansgezelschap Maastricht, and MAAS Theater en Dans. The duo was subsequently selected for Aerowaves 2024 and is currently touring internationally. In 2025, Sarah and Isaiah created their first choreographic work for Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, entitled GOATS, as part of the ORIGIN program—directly resulting from the prize awarded at RIDCC. The piece has met with major international success and has been taken up by numerous institutions and companies, including Staatstheater Tanz Bielefeld, where it will premiere on October 31, 2025. That same year, they also choreographed the 2025–2026 tour of rap artist Damso. In July 2025, they led a research laboratory at Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) and presented a creation with the dancers of NDT 2 as part of the Up and Coming Lab program. This widely acclaimed presentation opened the door to promising future collaborations with NDT. In autumn 2025, Sarah and Isaiah will begin a new creation entitled WAXES for Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, inspired by their work VÉNUS ANATOMIQUE. Presented within the Future is Feminine program initiated by Scapino’s artistic director, the piece will premiere on January 22, 2026, followed by a tour throughout the Netherlands. In autumn 2026, they are invited to create a new work for GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, with its world premiere scheduled for October 9, 2026, at Pfalzbau Ludwigshafen (Germany), followed by a Swedish premiere at the Gothenburg Opera on November 13, 2026. Finally, on February 12, 2027, Sarah and Isaiah will premiere a new independent creation produced by their company, entitled WALKIE-TALKIE SYMPHONY IN D-MINOR (for unlearning emotion), for six performers, at Arsenal – Cité musicale-Metz. Presents ⛓️KINK⛓️ by Nik Rajšek 🇸🇮
24.Oct , Luxembourg
🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻
A provocative solo about control: craving it, resisting it, and losing it. KINK explores the shifting tension between dominance and surrender, as the body twists, retreats, and asserts itself.

Movement and music take turns leading, while being watched becomes both threat and thrill. Nik Rajšek invites the audience into a teasing power dynamic where control is questioned, shared, and constantly redefined.

🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻

A bold and compelling exploration of power, exposure, and the desire to lose control.

⛓️KINK⛓️ von Nik Rajšek 🇸🇮

24. Oktober 2026 • TROIS C-L • Luxemburg

🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻
