C’est avec une immense tristesse et une profonde émotion que nous apprenons la disparition de Marjane Satrapi. Artiste totale et voix indomptable de la liberté, elle avait honoré notre Festival de sa générosité et de son regard affûté en illuminant une édition 2020 malheureusement interrompue par l’arrivée du Covid de sa présence, alors qu'elle présidait notre Jury International.
Nous gardons le souvenir précieux de sa passion pour le cinéma, de son audace, de son humour parfois délicieusement acide et de son humanisme sans faille.
Le monde de l’Art perd une figure magistrale ; notre Festival perd une immense source d'inspiration.
Toutes nos pensées vont à sa famille et à ses proches.
