Sunday night at De Gudde Wëllen was pure magic as & tore up the stage for a sold-out crowd. 🎤🎶 The energy was electric, the beats were flawless, and the vibe was unforgettable.

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who packed the venue and brought the hype for the last show of this year’s festival. We couldn’t have asked for a better ending! 🙌💛

Last night, we kicked off the very first-ever nu:notes festival with an unforgettable concert at —and who better to set the tone than the incredible ? From the first note to the last, the energy was unreal.

Big love to everyone who showed up, danced, and vibed with us. This is just the beginning—stay tuned for more magic coming your way!

🎛️ ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Apollo Brown feat. Marco Polo, support by Wilczynski 🎛️

Hip-hop heads, this one’s for you. 🔥 Two legendary producers, Apollo Brown & Marco Polo, team up to deliver a night of pure beats, raw energy, and real hip-hop.

🔊 Joining them is Wilczynski (DE), bringing deep, soulful cuts. This is the PERFECT closing to nu:notes. Who’s in? 🚀

Detroit producer Apollo Brown has redefined boom-bap in the 21st century, blending hard-hitting drums with soulful, melancholic melodies. Originally from Grand Rapids, he built his name in Detroit’s hip-hop scene, collaborating with artists like Joell Ortiz, Skyzoo, and Ras Kass while crafting beats rooted in tradition yet fresh in ex*****on. Signed to Mello Music Group, his work stays true to the gritty, emotive sound of legends like J Dilla and Pete Rock, proving that his music speaks for itself—just press play.

Marco Polo is a Toronto-born producer known for blending 90s boom-bap with modern sounds. After moving to NYC in 2001 and working as an engineer at The Cutting Room, he built a reputation producing for legends like Rakim, Westside Gunn, and Masta Ace. His critically acclaimed debut Port Authority (2007) cemented his status, and he continues to expand his career with global tours, licensing deals, and an upcoming project with Masta Ace in 2025.

Wilczynski is a key figure in the international lofi hip-hop scene, known for blending jazz and soul into his laid-back beats. With over ten vinyl releases, he also runs iruka.records, supporting emerging talent, and gained global recognition through the Beats with Brothers series. His live performances, including at Tapefabrik Festival, make him a standout artist in the genre.

His latest album, On Being, channels the human experience through audience-sourced inspiration, continuing his mission to elevate electronic music as a true art form.

Kick off nu:notes Festival 2025 with smooth alt-R&B, soul vibes, and a killer DJ set! 🕺✨
🔊 Expect silky beats, deep grooves, and a perfect start to the festival! Who’s coming? 👀

Don Piano is the musical project of John Wolter, a Luxembourgish drummer, composer, vocalist, and producer. Blending modern R&B, neo-soul, and punk rock, his album Oxytocin explores themes of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery through genre-bending sound. With a dynamic band and live instrumentation, the music remains both introspective and danceable.

DJ PC a legend in Luxembourg’s hip-hop scene, has been crafting beats since 1995, producing over 800 tracks and releasing multiple mixtapes. Influenced by DJ Premier, DJ Haitian Star, and Mix Master Mike, his sound is deeply rooted in the golden era of 90s hip-hop, created with his beloved E-mu SP1200 and AKAI s950. Though he has collaborated with artists like De Lab and Krisla, he proudly embraces his identity as a “one-man army.”
