🇰🇷✨ K-pop Mania – Korean Festival is officially OPEN at Belle Étoile!

What an incredible evening to kick off our Korean cultural festival here at Luxembourg's beloved Belle Étoile Shopping Centre! 🎉

We were deeply honored to welcome H.E. Ambassador Chun Young-Hee of the Republic of Korea to Luxembourg and Luxembourg's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Xavier Bettel, who both joined us with warm and heartfelt congratulations. 🙏

As our director, Dr. Jinyoung Choi shared in her welcome address — it is a true joy and pride to bring Korean culture to such a beloved place in the heart of Luxembourg. 💛

The festival runs until April 25 — and there's so much to enjoy:

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Korean Culture Day 2025 in Luxembourg!

This year, we welcomed over 5,000 visitors to a vibrant celebration of Korean tradition and contemporary K-culture.

From traditional Korean dance and K-POP performances, to K-beauty demos, hands-on art workshops, and the heartfelt participation of local vendors, to delicious Korean food presented in collaboration with CJ Foods Europe, to the high-energy K-POP Dance Competition and K-POP DJ set, we hope it was a day where people of all ages and backgrounds could fully immerse themselves in the richness of Korean culture.

We know that with such overwhelming interest, there may have been moments that fell short. But at the Maison de la Culture Coréenne au Luxembourg (MCCL), we are committed to moving forward — toward becoming a deeper, more lasting platform for cultural exchange between Korea and Luxembourg.

While Korean Culture Day is just one day, our mission continues year-round. Through Korean language courses, workshops, and community events, we will keep creating opportunities for everyone to engage with Korean culture in everyday life.

Culture is connection. And that connection shines brightest when we build it together.
