The Municipality of Junglinster and VF Art Projects are pleased to present “Identities: when fashion meets photography” 📸✨

Join us for the opening on May 9, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at the historic Château de Bourglinster, in the presence of the artists.

An exhibition bringing together internationally renowned fashion photographer Tom Watson alongside Luxembourg-based artists Tetiana Popyk and Lynn Theisen, exploring identity as an ever-evolving process through the lens of fashion photography.

Curated by Emanuela Mazzonis, the exhibition creates a dialogue between international and local perspectives, past and present.

Nos complace anunciar la inauguración de “Lengua Trópica”, la gran nueva exposición individual del artista cubano Dagoberto Rodríguez — una de las voces más destacadas del arte contemporáneo latinoamericano.

Comisariada por Reyes Abad Flores y producida por Fundación Cajasol Sevilla junto a VF Art Projects, la exposición abrirá sus puertas el martes 28 de abril a las 12:00 h en presencia del artista.

“Lengua Trópica” reúne escultura, instalación, video y pintura en una reflexión sobre la transformación, el desplazamiento y el frágil equilibrio entre entornos construidos, formas orgánicas y arquitectura. A través del uso del tropo, Rodríguez desarrolla un lenguaje visual que oscila entre el humor, la ironía y la reflexión política, invitando a múltiples interpretaciones.

Cofundador del legendario colectivo Los Carpinteros en los años 90, Rodríguez presenta aquí un momento significativo de su práctica individual. Al combinar la funcionalidad de objetos cotidianos con significados simbólicos, su obra conecta con públicos diversos y reflexiona sobre las intersecciones entre arte, sociedad y diseño.

Su trabajo ha sido exhibido y forma parte de importantes colecciones internacionales como MoMA, Tate Modern, Museo Reina Sofía, Centre Pompidou, Guggenheim Museum o el Museo de Bellas Artes de La Habana, entre tantos otros.
