IT'S A WRAP!
We’ve not even come down from yesterday’s incredible evening yet, and already we have to face the fact that the 2026 edition of CONGÉS ANNULÉS is over. We don’t know about you, but for us, time just flew by.
While we’re taking a moment to recover, we’d still like to say a few words to you, because if this festival has been what it is every year for the past 18 years now, it’s all down to you. Every day, at the end of every evening’s concerts, there isn’t a single moment when we don’t realise how lucky we are to have such genuinely curious and adventurous people in our audience. People who are ready to put their trust in us for a whole month and to move seamlessly from a harp concert to indie, via post-black metal, experimental folk or even shoegaze. Seeing the familiar faces of our regulars return night after night warms our hearts even more than the temperatures during a heatwave. Just as seeing new faces who’ve never been before confirms that Congés Annulés is truly a festival for everyone. We hope this month has immersed you too in a bubble where we feel right at home, seeing your smiles, your tears, your arms in the air and your warm feedback every evening.
We’d also like to thank the artists who make these moments memorable and bring us all together for an evening to share our common passion. Thank you to the DJs for skilfully getting the crowd going before and after each concert.
In particular, we’d like to thank Luster Club and radio 100,7 for their D’Keess Radio programme; their talent and values have made us proud of this collaboration, which got the Parvis dancing every night.
Thank you also to our teams, who do everything they can to ensure your festival runs as smoothly as possible every time. We read all your lovely comments, and every piece of positive feedback – whether it’s for the technical team or the ticketing team – always means the world to us.
Thank you to our lovely sponsors LALUX Assurances Spuerkeess radio 100,7 Bold magazine for the support and the success of this year edition! S/o to Buvette for the fresh drinks and the pizzas!
In short, as you’ll have gathered, the word that stands out most is definitely THANK YOU. Thank you from the very bottom of our little lemon hearts. Now, have a good rest and make the most of the rest of the summer, whether you’re lucky enough to go away or not. As for us, we’re taking a well-deserved little break and we’ll see you again in September for the start of the new season, with even more shows, highlights, encounters, experiences to share together and, of course, new concerts too.
See you soon, and do think of us when you’re sipping your lemonade (or limoncello?) on a terrace!
