LMTA Musical Innovation Studies Centre (MiSC) was established in 2010 implementing the National Integrated Programme (NCP) project "Lithuanian creative and cultural industry studies and research also artistic practice for the development and renewal of tehnological and information infrastructure." The centre integrates digital music technology and spatial sound distribution synergies between natio

nal and international art, science and education programs in the Sound Sphere. In 2013 the Musical Innovation Prize was established promoting digital music and educational initiatives.
