Sveika atvykusi į TAAD Foundation šeimą, Dolores, ASMA 🤍

ASMA – menininkų duetas, kurį sudaro Matias Armendaris (g. 1990, Ekvadoras) ir Hanya Beliá (g. 1994, Meksika), gyvenantys ir kuriantys Meksiko mieste.

Jų kūryba balansuoja tarp tapybos ir skulptūros, pasitelkdama alegorines figūras, hibridines formas ir įtaigias erdves, kuriose tyrinėjamos tapatybės, priklausymo, atminties ir transformacijos temos. Išgalvoti pasakojimai čia persipina su gamtos formomis ir šiuolaikiniais psichoafektiniais peizažais, o nostalgiškas žvilgsnis į praeitį susitinka su metamodernistiniu grožio tyrinėjimu.

ASMA skulptūrinės praktikos centre – lėlės su rutuliniais sąnariais, menininkų transformuojamos į nejaukias, hibridines būtybes. Per jas tyrinėjamas mūsų santykis su nežmogiškuoju pasauliu bei kvestionuojamos savasties ir tapatybės sampratos. Naudodami rastas ir perdirbtas medžiagas, menininkai pasitelkia fragmentaciją ir hibridiškumą, paversdami lėlę erdve psichologinei ir materialiai transformacijai.

Rugsėjo 17 d. „Showroom Galerie_7“ duris atvers Severijos Inčirauskaitės-Kriaunevičienės paroda „Spring Is in the Air“. Paroda pristatoma Clermont-Ferrand tekstilės bienalės programoje ir dialoge su Liono bienale. Joje bus eksponuojamas kūrinys „Spring Is in the Air“ iš TAAD Foundation kolekcijos.

Severija Inčirauskaitė-Kriaunevičienė, Vilniaus dailės akademijos Tekstilės meno ir dizaino katedros profesorė ir vedėja, savo kūryboje jungia kasdienius objektus ir tradicines tekstilės technikas. Kryželiu siuvinėjimas, dažnai siejamas su buitine tekstile ir moteriškuoju amatu, jos kūryboje tampa priemone transformuoti gerai pažįstamus daiktus, keisti jų reikšmę ir atskleisti netikėtus kultūrinius bei socialinius sluoksnius.

„Spring Is in the Air“ atspindi savitą menininkės požiūrį į kasdienybės, amato ir šiuolaikinio meno santykį, kviesdamas iš naujo pažvelgti į įprastus daiktus ir jų savyje nešamas reikšmes.

Paroda veiks iki 2026 m. spalio 17 d., pirmadieniais–šeštadieniais, 10–17 val.

Heading to Riga Contemporary 2026!

TAAD Foundation will be joining Riga Contemporary , taking place July 2–5 at Hanzas Perons .perons — one of the Baltic region’s leading platforms for contemporary art.

On July 4, TAAD Foundation Director will participate in the panel discussion “Private Foundations as a Tool for Art Scene Development”, moderated by .

Happy to share the new acquisition to our collection — Rapture III by Ukrainian artist Sana Shahmuradova Tanska, arriving directly from MOCAK Museum of Contemporary Art in Kraków, where the artist’s recent solo exhibition The Rapture was presented.

Tanska’s practice intertwines themes of dreams, collective memory, and intergenerational trauma. Her paintings are marked by organic forms, luminous color palettes, and an almost mythological visual language in which human figures merge with nature and imagined landscapes. Responding to the realities of contemporary Ukraine, the artist creates deeply emotional, multilayered works that explore vulnerability, transformation, and resilience.
