A stage like a frozen movie scene: that was the Donny Montell open-air show at Kalnu Park, Vilnius. 🚘🎬
Lithuania’s biggest pop star Donny Montell thrilled audiences with a new live show that captivated not only musically, but also visually – thanks to a stage design full of cinematic depth and attention to detail. ✨
As with his previous productions, the creative minds of Marfa Lights once again took charge of stage and lighting design. To bring the film-like concept to life, the team used the full range of Cameo fixtures – more than 450 in total. 💡
The idea: the stage should feel like a frozen movie scene on a bustling street. The lighting was designed primarily to support the cinematic effect of the overall concept and subtly create atmosphere. Each song was to create its own image, every perspective a new emotion – all while maintaining one cohesive visual language.
Key players: the PIXBAR® SMD IP G2 with its consistent colour rendering, the ZENIT® Wash Lights, and the powerful S4 Softlight Panels.
Lighting designer Andrius Stasiulis sums it up:
