I am the feet of the earth
And the seed of the stars
Mother Earth is my Mother
My breath is the wind
My word is transparent because
The silence in me is present
I am a wandering tree
In a unfinished walk
Hearing it
The mountain came close to the ear of her heart
And it said, we are the same.

5 intresting facts about Rosalba Carriera ⭐️

⭐️Rosalba Carriera was an Italian Rococo portrait artist and miniaturist.

👩‍🎓She was the first woman to be admitted to the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts of Venice.

🤌Carriera became famous for her portrait paintings and miniature portraits, which were highly sought after by European royalty and aristocracy.

✨She developed a unique style of painting, using pastel colors and soft lines, which was a major departure from the traditional oil painting techniques of the time.

❤Carriera was a highly influential figure in the art world and her work helped to popularize the Rococo style in Europe. She was also one of the first female artists to achieve international recognition and financial success in her own right.

Women artists are underrepresented in art history, so one of my missions is spread the word about them and show their art.

Why everyone is obsessed with Vincent Van Gogh?

Feels like every second post about art is dedicated to Vincent van Gogh. Years after his death he truly is a star of art world today. So, what is it about van Gogh's art that makes it so compelling?

🎨 The use of color: Van Gogh was known for his bold and expressive use of color. He used vibrant hues to convey emotions and create a sense of atmosphere in his paintings. His use of color was innovative for his time and continues to inspire artists today.

😥 Emotional intensity: Van Gogh's paintings are infused with an emotional intensity that is both raw and powerful. He used his art as a means of expressing his innermost feelings and struggles, which makes his paintings relatable and engaging.

🖌 The vivid brushwork: Van Gogh's brushwork was loose and impasto, giving his paintings a sense of movement and energy. This vivid brushwork adds to the emotional impact of his paintings and draws viewers into the scene.

⭐️ The unique style: Van Gogh's art is easily recognizable due to his unique style. He used thick brushstrokes, bold lines, and vibrant colors to create a style that was entirely his own. This distinctiveness sets his paintings apart and makes them instantly recognizable.

🦻The story behind the artist: The story of Vincent van Gogh's life is as fascinating as his paintings. He lived a difficult life marked by poverty, mental illness, and a troubled relationship with his family. Despite these challenges, he continued to create art that is now considered some of the greatest of all time.

In your opinion, what it is it about Van Gogh's art that appeals so much to so many people?

Dear all! I'm happy to invite to Mindful art discussion with me 💫

When: Sunday 4th of December at 12 pm
Where: online with Google meets
Duration: 45 - 60 mins

What we will do? During this discussion we will take 1 painting at the time! We will have a long and careful look at it, discuss what we see and try to make sense of based on our thoughts. The method is based on VTS (Visual thinking strategies).

What we will NOT do? We won't discuss art history facts, artist's biography etc. In fact for this discussion we will need to set it aside and just concentrate on our inner response to visual experience.

Usually talks about art seem complicated, and feels like you need a degree to understand/enjoy it. I think you need a pair of eyes 👀 and a good discussion 😏

Group size is limited to 10 people, so if you'd like to participate, let me know in DMs.

For me mid twenties are about falling in love with myself. In a good way, where I finally give myself respect and appreciation that I deserved all along. See beauty where it always was, I was just too blind to see.

For finding peace and acceptance for my body and soul, and finally understanding better how they are what they need to thrive.

For accepting people around me the way they are without wanting to change or manipulate them.

For discovering my true passion - art and creativity. And finally settling at least approximately on how to realise my potential around it.

Turns out adults are just like me. We don't know what we're doing much. But we do because who else? Because seems right.

I guess I'm an adult. Adult that is happy in this very moment.
