Here you can touch, smell, listen to, and even taste amber…
ARZA Gallery presents amber artefacts that have become works of art in the hands of well-known Lithuanian artists, amber tea characteristic of exceptional powers, amber incense, special amber aroma therapy and cosmetic products and many more wonderful things that can be found nowhere else but at ARZA GALLERY. ARZA GALLERY is based on the
works of Algina and Rolandas Žalimas, Lithuanian artists that have been creating ingenious amber jewellery for more than 18 years. Besides the gallery name ARZA is a trademark of these jewellers. The artefacts made by the artists represent the direction of the fashion jewellery otherwise called dress jewellery. The ARZA artists have restored Lithuanian old-time technologies of making amber and flax decorations and offer a new interpretation of the ethnic heritage, a unique and modern attitude towards the traditional decoration. The artists “conform” to natural forms by finding originality in simplicity. All decorations and accessories created by the ARZA jewellers are piece artefacts made from natural materials without using any substitutes, chemically processed or stained stones. This is confirmed by certificates issued for every product manufactured by the artists. ARZA works have been on sale in Italy for over fifteen years, they are sold at French and Polish galleries. Pieces of jewellery created by the artists have been acquired by Sylvia, Queen of Sweden, princesses of Saudi Arabia, and Paul Smith, a British designer. A well-known fashion designer Franco Moschino has placed an order with ARZA for a special personal decoration. The Office of the President of the Republic of Lithuania has acquired many amber products made by ARZA for representative gifts. While presenting their collections of decorations and accessories the ARZA jewellers cooperate closely with national and foreign fashion designers. Joint presentations of works were held in Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden and Great Britain. Photos of the artefacts created by the ARZA artists have been taken on several occasions for Lithuanian and foreign fashion magazines, e.g. The ARZA jewellery has represented Lithuania at the exhibition in France marking the accession of new member-states to the European Union.
