A handful of wonderful people have come together in a unique place on the shore of the Baltic Sea. New friendships were made, stories shared, and experiences created.
It is a place little known to many, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was a real discovery for us. The first time we saw it, we knew we had to capture our event here and share it with you.
On warm summer days, locals who call themselves Robinsones set up this secluded oasis for themselves and all passers-by. They made decorations from the goods found in the forest, and the bits and pieces washed out of the sea. Windmills are the main attributes that point the way to this peaceful place from afar.
Simas Slabačiauskas was undoubtedly the best performer to enjoy the beauty of the Lithuanian seaside and create a dance in this place. Simas, who chooses unique melodies for the specific place and time, saw the connection between music and nature here. We present a film of that unforgettable day to share warmth, goodness, love, and joy with you.
The day was pleasantly warm, with a light breeze. We enjoyed the company of like-minded people while everyone had something to contribute with. In this region, changeable weather is frequent, so this day was no exception. Just before the dancing started, a cloudburst enveloped the entire horizon, and the wind picked up. As the dance had to take place at the bottom of the dune, we had to make a hasty decision to move all the existing equipment to a safer place.
When the second song started, the rain joined our dance, and from time to time, it continued to visit us later that evening. It was a real test for all of us and our equipment. Thanks to the collaborative work of everyone, we got along with these weather conditions, and it was only an improvement to this experience.
Simas is a tenacious performer. As he said himself, it takes time to uncover a story and tell it through the sounds of music. So this dance took three wonderful hours. We hope that you will gladly emerge in this experience with us.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to this musical journey.
Have a good time listening and watching.
