Pirmosios Kalėdos kartu! Jau beveik metai kai pradėjau šią kelionę. Kliūčių tikrai pasitaiko visur, bet visada galima rasti būdą, kaip jomis pasinaudoti. Mažos svajonės ir norai dabar gali visai netikėtai tapti realiomis galimybėmis ateityje.
Gal tikrai verta patikėti stebuklais nors kelioms naktims 😉

First Christmas together! It has already been almost a year since I started this journey. Obstacles are there at all times however they can always be used to your advantage. Small dreams and wishes now can quite unexpectedly become real opportunities in the future.
Maybe it really is worth it to believe miracles even if just for a few nights 😉

„Realybės šešėliai“ – tai mano smulkių detalių interpretacija. Detalių, kurias praleidžiame ar lengvai pamirštame.
Akimirkai stabtelėkite ir paklauskite savęs: „o kas jeigu?“
Paklauskite ne todėl, kad verčia stresas, darbas ar vidinis balsas, liepiantis apgalvoti kiekvieną įmanomą variantą ar menkiausią smulkmeną.
Paklauskite tam, kad vaizduotė nustebintų jus visai kitokia, įspūdingesne ar netgi magiška tos mažos, subtilios detalės forma, kuri pagaliau padėtų sustoti ir pamatyti, ką iš tikrųjų gali pasiūlyti šis momentas.

Shadows of Reality

“Shadows of reality” – my interpretation of small details. Details that we easily overlook or forget.
Let’s stop for a moment and ask ourselves: “what if?”.
Ask not because you are forced by stress, work or an inner voice that tells you to overthink every possible option or smallest detail.
Ask so that your imagination would surprise you with a completely different, more impressive or even magical form of that small, subtle detail which would finally help you to stop and see what this very moment really has to offer.

Žvilgsnis atgal

Ne per seniausiai buvo sunku net įsivaizduoti, kiek nueisiu iki šios akimirkos. Žiūrint iš šono gali atrodyti kaip mažas žingsnis, tačiau man – tai netikėta ir vis dar menkai pažįstama kelionė.
Šie trys darbai užbaigė vieną iš kelionės etapų ir padėjo įžengti į naująjį.
Galbūt ir jums jie vieną dieną taps įsimintinos akimirkos simboliu.

A Look Back

Not too long ago, it was hard to imagine how far I would go to this point. From the side, it may seem like a small step, but to me it is an unexpected and still little-know journey.
These three artworks completed one stage of my journey and helped to enter a new one.
Maybe one day they will become a symbol of a memorable moment for you too.

Ta pati diena, bet istorija kasmet vis kita. Vienais metais planuojame ką veiksime su draugais ar kaip šią dieną skirsime vien tik sau. O kitais, nepamirštamą vakarą jau suplanuoja mūsų mylimas žmogus.
Giliai širdyje gal įsivaizdavome, kad ši meilės diena šiemet atrodys kitaip, tačiau kad ir kaip bebūtų, išnaudokime visas mums suteiktas galimybės, o gal net gi šiek tiek surizikuokime ;))

Same day, yet annually the story changes. One year we are making plans with our friends or dedicating today just to ourselves. And next year, an unforgettable evening is already planned by our loved one.
Deep down in our hearts we might’ve imagined this day of love going in a different direction, but no matter what, let’s make the most of the opportunities we have been given, and maybe even take a little risk ;))

Gradiento žiedlapiai

Norėjau sukurti darbų seriją, į kurią žiūrint galėčiau paskęsti savo mintyse, pamiršti mane supantį pasaulį ir įžengti į savąjį nors akimirkai. Neturėjau plano ar konkrečios temos, įsivaizdavau tik blankų rezultatą ir leidau sau improvizuoti.
Nebūtina, kad kas nors turėtų gilią reikšmę ar įmantrų pavadinimą, kad tai būtų tai, ko mums dabar labiausiai reikia.

Petals of Gradient

I wanted to create a series of artwork where I could sink in my own thoughts, forget the world around me and enter my own for just a moment. I didn’t have a plan or a specific theme, I imagined just a blurry result and let myself improvise.
It is not necessary for something to have a deep meaning or a fancy name to be just that, what we need right now.

Vaivorykštės pradžioje

Visi esame girdėję istorijas apie tai, ką galima rasti vaivorykštės pabaigoje. Bet kaip dėl pradžios? Galime išlaisvinti savo vaizduotę ir pamatyti, kokios mintys mus aplankys. Gal vaivorykštės pradžioje yra kažkas magiško, ar kažkas paprasto ir gražaus. Galbūt aptiksite visiškai kasdienę būtybę ar objektą, tačiau pati akimirka taps nepamirštama. Kiekviena istorija skirsis ir bus savaip unikali.

Atskleisiu jums mažą istorinį faktą, apie kurį gali mažai kas žinoti. Izaokas Niutonas pastebėjo baltos spalvos išskaidymą į 7 spalvas: raudoną, oranžinę, geltoną, žalią, mėlyną, indigo ir violetinę. Tačiau, ar žinojote, kad pradžioje vaivorykštė turėjo turėti tik 5 spalvas: raudoną, geltoną, žalią, mėlyną ir violetinę? Taip nenutiko, nes Niutonas žavėjosi Pitagorizmu, įkvėptu Pitagoro, kuris turėjo mažą skaičių maniją, mokyklos. Niutonas tikėjo, kad garsus (kurių yra 7 natūralios natos) ir spalvas sieja ryšys.

At The Beginning of The Rainbow

We all have heard stories of what we can find at the end of the rainbow. But what about the beginning? We can let out imagination loose and see what comes to mind. Maybe there’s something magical or something simple but beautiful. Perhaps you will stumble upon a being or object completely mundane, however the moment itself will become unforgettable. Every story will differ and be unique in its own way.

I’ll let you in on a little history fact that not many might know. Isaac Newton observed the white light refraction to 7 colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. However, did you know that originally rainbow was supposed to have only 5 colors: red, yellow, green, blue and violet? This didn’t happen because Newton admired Pythagoreanism, inspired by Pythagoras’, who has a slight obsession with numbers, school. Newton believed that there is a connection between sounds (there are 7 natural notes) and colors.

Let the first series of my collection “Shadows of Reality” show you the secret of what the beginning of the rainbow can offer you today, yesterday and tomorrow.
