Blessings to all the dancers! Here in Lithuania (and the whole Europe) we had an incredibly warm May, and June, it seems, goes the same! So, as everyone try to spend their Sundays outside, in nature, where the body has other enjoyments, let it be this way: I am pausing the regular dances for June and July, unless anyone sends me a message with words: "I'd love to dance this Sunday!" Then we will meet on the mutually agreed time. Summer is the time of festivals and live meetings! I will write here, in a separate post, where you can find me providing ecstatic and tribal dances in Lithuania this summer, and next summer, I hope, I will come to other countries as well. If you want to help me arrange this - I am open for the proposals. 🙏😍

Today WE ARE NOT DANCING - I am finishing my master's thesis in dance and movement therapy field (and it's the last hours!), so I have to stay focused. But I am sending you my Sunday blessings and hope you will join me next week!

Labas everybody! Labas means 'hi', and I can teach you some more lithuanian words, if you are not lithuanian, you should ask this right before the usual Sunday ecstatic dance!
We are dancing each Sunday at a certain time, which is more or less accessible to everyone in the world. In the Eastern Europe we have summertime clock now, and so we meet to dance at 00.00 UTC or 15.00 Vilnius/Helsinki time, or:

00.00 - New Zealand time
23.00 - Brisbane time (Australia)
22.00 - Sydney time (Australia)
21.00 - Tokyo (Japan), Bali (Indonesia) time
20.00 - Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, China time
17.30 - India, Sri Lanka time
16.00 - Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan time
15.00 - Eastern Europe time
14.00 - Central Europe time (Poland, Germany, France, Spain, Greece, Italy, Croatia, Sweden, Norway, etc.)

And the begining was... in 2017, when I held my first ecstatic dance space in a freshly opened Yoga studio in Kaunas (see in the photograph). Since then I've holded space for numerous ecstatic dance spaces in different places in Vilnius, Anykščiai, in festivals and events all around Lithuania. I've had visitors from as little as just one dancer to as many as a couple of hundred dancers in the festival Masters of Calm, joining this dance with the joyful and colorful spirit of Holi celebration. I LOVE DANCING SO MUCH! - that I can't keep it only for myself and rare events, so I decided to hold the space every Sunday and make it open for everyone.
So, tomorrow - again, we're meeting on Google Meet at 1 PM CET, check the link in the post below, it's always the same, and I will put it in the first comment as well.

O pradžia buvo... 2017 m., kai surengiau savo pirmąjį ekstatinį šokį ką tik atidarytoje jogos studijoje Kaune (žr. nuotraukoje). Nuo to laiko sukūriau erdvę daugybei ekstatinių šokių įvairiose Vilniaus, Anykščių vietose, festivaliuose ir renginiuose visoje Lietuvoje. Sulaukiau lankytojų nuo ​​vieno šokėjo iki poros šimtų šokėjų festivalyje Masters of Calm, kur šokis buvo apjungtas su džiaugsminga ir spalvinga Holi šventės dvasia (kita nuotrauka). AŠ LABAI MYLIU ŠOKĮ! – tad negaliu jo pasilikti tik sau ir retiems renginiams, todėl nusprendžiau kiekvieną sekmadienį kurti tam erdvę ir padaryti jį atvirą visiems.

So what is the ecstatic dance? There is so much to say about it and... very little. Because the words sometimes are helpless. You need to EXPERIENCE IT.
Someone caught this experience on the camera - here, enjoy watching it and don't forget, that each Sunday WE DANCE TOGETHER ONLINE! At 1 pm CET / 15 h Vilnius time.

If you never been there, you will think that those people are crazy!for the first time Ecstatic Dance in capturer in that way! those people amazingly allowed...

So how is it goin'? Today I got one visitor in my studio for SunDay Ecstatic. Hope, soon there will be more of us dancing here in Anykščiai, but also I want to encourage to join more of my international friends to dance. Each Sunday, at 1 PM CET - we are here, in Google Meet online meeting, chatting a few minutes and then having a warm-up and dancing. All together, having an online support from me, staying with open cameras and having as much of embodied dancing, as possible. Till next Sunday! And here is me - waiting for you to join!

Tai kaip sekasi? Šiandien aš turėjau vieną lankytoją savo studijoje SunDay Ecstatic šokiui. Tikiuosi, greitu metu mūsų čia bus daugiau nuolatos šokančių Anykščiuose, bet taip pat noriu padrąsinti ir daugiau mano draugų, išsibarsčiusių po visą pasaulį, susitikti šokiui. Kiekvieną sekmadienį 15.00 val. Lietuvos laiku mes jungiamės čia - į Google Meet susitikimą, keletą minučių pasikalbame, atliekame apšilimą ir šokame.
