CALL FOR SPONSORSHIP: GBV AWARENESS & CHRISTMAS FUNDRAISER FOR VULNERABLE CHILDREN - MAPOTENG
Dear Community Partners, Businesses, and Good Samaritans.
Senaka-ngoeli Visuals company is hosting a GBV AWARENESS & FUNDRAISING EVENT in Mapoteng on 5th and 6th of December.
Our Dual Purpose:
1. Raise Awareness: Educate the community on Gender-Based Violence and how we can prevent it together
2. Give Hope: Raise funds to buy Christmas clothes for vulnerable children in Mapoteng, and Ha Makhoroana so they can feel loved and dignified this festive season
Did you know? GBV takes many forms in our communities:
- Physical GBV: Hitting, slapping, beating, or any form of bodily harm
- Sexual GBV: R**e, sexual harassment, forced marriage, or unwanted touching
- Emotional/Psychological GBV: Insults, threats, intimidation, constant criticism, and humiliation
- Economic GBV: Controlling money, denying access to resources, or preventing someone from working
- Neglect: Failing to provide food, shelter, clothing, or care to children and dependents
Silence fuels these abuses. Awareness stops them.
We therefore as Senaka-ngoeli Visuals company wish to have artists to compete on the very same theme.
