Important announcement to the Lesotho Choral Fratenity at Large
CMFL IS BACK.
Dear Choral Music Fraternity,
It has been a while since the Choral Music Federation of Lesotho (CMFL) was fully active in its operations. The challenges brought about by COVID-19, together with other constraints, disrupted many of our activities and affected the growth and development of choral music in our country.
However, we are back.
During our absence, we have realised just how much of a gap was created within the choral fraternity. We have taken time to reflect, reorganise and put things in place, and we are now ready to resuscitate, rebuild and revitalise choral music in Lesotho.
This is a call to every choir across the country to stand with us as we begin this important journey. We need your support, participation, cooperation and commitment to restore the vibrancy and unity of the choral fraternity.
CMFL believes that the future of choral music depends on all of us, choirs, conductors, composers, adjudicators, music educators, musicians and lovers of choral music.
We therefore encourage all choirs to carefully take note of the details contained in the information attached to this message. The attached information provides important details regarding our upcoming activitie.
Let us come together again. Let us rebuild our fraternity. Let us restore the spirit of choral music. Let us give our choirs a platform to grow, learn, compete, collaborate and represent Lesotho with pride.
CMFL is not coming back merely to organise activities; we are coming back to rebuild a movement.
The journey may not be easy, but with unity, patience and commitment, we can bring the sound of Lesotho back to life.
