A VOTE OF THANKS — HAL MONYANYAKO FESTIVAL 2026
Music Unites. Lives Matter.
The Haemophilia Association of Lesotho - HAL extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made the HAL Monyanyako Festival 2026 possible and meaningful.
To everyone who attended, supported, shared, promoted and stood with us — thank you. Your presence helped create a day filled with music, fellowship, awareness and solidarity.
Our deepest appreciation goes to our sponsors, partners, donors, volunteers and the entire organising team who gave their resources, time and energy to make the festival possible. Your support has helped us bring the message of bleeding disorders closer to the public while supporting HAL's mission.
To our participating choirs — from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
You did much more than come and sing.
You gave your voices, your time and your talent to a cause that matters. By travelling, preparing and standing on that stage, you chose to stand alongside people living with haemophilia and other bleeding disorders.
And then you went a step further:
You composed and performed songs specifically about haemophilia.
Those songs were not simply performances. They were messages of awareness, understanding, compassion and hope. Through music, you helped tell a story that many people in our communities may never have heard before.
For the bleeding disorders community, that gesture means more than words can adequately express.
You helped show that our stories can be heard, our struggles can be understood, and our lives matter.
The HAL Monyanyako Festival - HMF was created not to determine who sings best, but to bring people together through the spirit of monyanyako — celebrating music, community and a shared purpose.
And you embraced that spirit beautifully.
To every singer, conductor, choir official, musician and supporter who contributed to the festival:
Rea le leboha. Thank you for lending your voice to our cause.
May the friendships, awareness and solidarity created through this festival continue long after the music has stopped.
One stage. One cause. Endless impact.
Thank you very much!
