The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) has successfully intercepted a significant consignment of drugs at the Bo Waterside Border in Grand Cape Mount County. Acting on a tip-off, LDEA agents seized the shipment as it was being transported from Sierra Leone into Liberia.
Authorities have estimated the street value of the confiscated drugs to be over $216,000 USD. This major bust highlights the ongoing efforts of the LDEA to combat drug trafficking and ensure the safety and security of Liberia’s borders.
Further investigations are underway to identify those responsible for the shipment and to prevent future smuggling attempts.
